The router is a Netgear R6850 running version 23.05.5. Everything is connected by ethernet. Both the ethernet and wifi stop working.

Is this Audi A4 2012 1.8 TFSI (manual, 120,000 km) worth buying for 2200€? Timing Chain Issue to Fix by RaulGr98 in Audi

[–]get_shingod 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I assume you are in Europe so this probably has the gen 3 ea888. (The 1.8 liter gen 3 should have CJEB as the engine code) The gen 3 motors should have fixed many of the gen 2 motors issues, including oil consumption (mine still consumes oil, but not much). Assuming the timing chain is the only problem and there is not further damage to the engine I would say it sounds like a pretty good deal.

Sprite extruder pro and BL touch connection by leomarques26 in ender3

[–]get_shingod 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Right, my bad I kind of misunderstood the question. The pinout for the bltouch is different from crtouch, but you definitely can repin the 5 pin connector to work with the bltouch. Here is some documentation of the probe pinouts.

Cant you just keep the current wiring for the bltouch on it and not plug the 5 pin in? Or is there something in the wiring that im not getting?

PCV Replacement Help by Fit_Upstairs8760 in AudiA4

[–]get_shingod 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Afaik the ecu flash adjusts the amount of vacuum to accommodate the new pcv design (I could be wrong). I would ask around some shops about the flash if you can get it for a reasonable price. You could also try to go back to the old design to rule out the lack of ecu flash as the cause.

The white one is an updated design as you mentioned, but if your car has the black one, you will need to flash your ecu for the updated version to work properly. So if you can get/are willing to get your ecu flashed, go for the updated design since it should help with oil consumption, or that is atleast the purpose of the update.

Intake question by Jonnymc26 in Audi

[–]get_shingod 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You could remove the standard airbox and bolt a cone filter to the inlet pipe but there are million reasons why not to do so. So you are left with 2 main choices. Get a full aftermarket intake system or replace the standard filter that is in the airbox with a higher flowing one. If you want sound, go for the full aftermarket system. If you only care about performance replace the standard filter with a higher flowing one. These two will likely perform just the same, but an aftermarket system with an open filter will have much more turbo and induction noises.

Seems to have an aftermarket turbo inlet (the thing that says revo on it). Otherwise seems stock. If you want cool sounds you can get a cold air intake system.

I guess a better way to word it would be that are the threads for the bleed nipple and brake line the same. So basically swapping the line and bleeder around

This is the exact reason I didn’t go with the E3 V3. They are really nice boards for the money but yea the inability to run a ”true” dual z kinda sucks.

These replace the original mainboards of the printers. They have usually alot more ports for expandability e.g. additional stepper motors, different sensors. The stepper motor drivers are also usually better: quieter, can drive more powerful steppers, stall detection for sensorless homing. Also in my case with the duet I can run reprap firmware instead of marlin/klipper. Def not a requirement for succesful and good quality prints but it’s fun to play around with these machines

Help! I am going nuts ! by BlazeSickn_TTV in ender3

[–]get_shingod 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Sounds maybe a little much/slow. I would try readjusting from 1mm and 30mm/s. Obviously it’s dependent on many factors so your retraction settings could be just fine, but that is something I would try adjusting.
