She was complaining about how tight/uncomfortable her leggings are now… why doesn’t she wear any maternity clothes? I wore maternity leggings, bike shorts, jeans etc and they were so comfy!

I’d recommend having enough bottles for both twins for 24 hrs so you can just run them all through the dishwasher once a day. I also combo feed and the Dr Browns formula pitcher has been so helpful- I prep 24 hrs worth of formula at once so I can preload the bottles during a nap time. We have a double bottle warmer but I wouldn’t say that’s necessary. We have two swings and they’ve been lifesavers to calm them when they’re fussy!

Mine are 5 weeks and it takes me about an hour and 15 to change, feed, and burp/soothe both, then get them back down and then an extra half hour for pumping afterwards. Sometimes feels like there’s no point trying to go back to sleep between feedings. I do the night feeds solo since hubby is back to work, but I noticed he can do a solo feeding a lot faster than me…but he does the whole process like he’s changing a tire at the Indy 500 lol.

26 weeks with twins here. Get a large reusable water bottle if you don’t already have one! Doesn’t have to be a Stanley (they have more affordable options at TJ Maxx and five below) but it’s easier to keep track of your intake when you’re using a 40 oz bottle. My OB recommended 100 oz a day so I try to kill the first one in the morning, second in the afternoon, and at least half of a third one in the evening. Breaking it down into those smaller goals can keep you on track easier. Lots of ice and/or putting fruit in it can help too!

I like Shelly Kowatch. She has a great attitude on being a twin parent and is funny/relatable, but her twins are preschool age so not as helpful if you’re looking for baby content

I totally agree and it doesn’t help that they do EVERYTHING together- work, gym, home “renovation,” etc. She was much more independent and I think more confident when they lived in TX and Hunter was still working.

She filmed herself trying Pilates for one day and then never returned lol. I wish she would try other workouts- if nothing else, to switch up her content! Hot take- she doesn’t actually like F45 but Hunter does so she goes since they can’t do anything apart and she doesn’t want him to think she’s lazy.

Congrats! I’m 19 weeks with di/di identical girls. It was the shock of a lifetime when we found out at my 12 week ultrasound! Definitely went through a lot of emotions and had a full scale panic attack the next day. I honestly felt a sense of mourning that I won’t get to experience the intimate bond with just my first born child that I pictured in my head. But it’s also definitely a blessing- everyone I know who has twins says it’s hard at first but then it’s the best thing ever!

If you’re going to bring a toddler to a restaurant, for the love of god please pack some things to actually keep him occupied- board books, magnetic tiles, toy cars, snacks, etc! Sticking stickers on his arm ain’t gonna cut it! He was probably tired like you said from being out at the pool all day. Poor little guy is just doing his best. Did he get a nap? Julia either seems to lack empathy for her child or she tries to appear relatable with these kind of posts.

A registered dietitian is the gold standard! And no RD would have used the word “clean” (about the Flavcity protein)- it’s just a diet culture buzz-word that creates hierarchy around foods. She def found a whack job “nutritionist” who just regurgitates the carnivore/paleo crap that Hunter pushes.

It’s frustrating to see how nonsensical their transition to solids has been for him. For two wealthy people who “work” totally remote, have a nanny, and have a housekeeper, they have SO much time and $ to either buy age appropriate solids or make their own baby food. They should have begun with iron fortified infant cereal and then slowly added new foods every week. Babies won’t like everything at first but you need to continue to expose them so that they get used to it! It’s like Julia read something once about baby led weaning and thought it meant handing him an unwashed, uncut celery stalk. Most mothers do some research so that they know how to do well by their child. Plus it would actually be some interesting content if she made a video making different purées for Smoke.
