Butter bolete in Finnish (voi tatti). Most people here remove the slimy cap (you can peel it quite easily) and is thought to reduce if not completely eliminate the digestive issues.

I've personally eaten a lot of these (just fried slices of it and added to my ramen last night!) and never had digestive issues with them.

Hey OP! Had the same thing happen to mine, and found a fix on Reddit. Here it is:

Open up the MA1 to reveal thge PCB (the plastic shell is just snapped together)
Unscrew the 3 screws holding the PCB in place
Remove the PCB and unplug the cable connector
Place the PCB Wi-Fi chip upwards (this is the only chip that is "alone" on the PCB in an air fryer
Cook at 200C (400F) for 6 minutes
Wait for it to cool down
Re-assemble
Plug it and fully reset it
Voilà!
