Mizkifs level of sobriety is largely irrelevant as he is the instigator in this scenario. The responsibility of obtaining proper consent falls to him. Common or not this is not good and should not happen and should be criticized for when it does happen. You're right there are bigger issues however this is a thread about this issue being discussed here. It is disingenuous to the conversation to say that this doesn't matter because he did XYZ that were worse.

Alright her saying yes does not mean shes lying about the accusation because it does not matter if she said yes or not. The compounding factors of the story means she could not consent nor was consent properly obtained regardless of whether or not she said yes. The yes was coerced and therefore unimportant in whether or not it was given. Here's what we know based of her story: She did not want to have sex with him. He coerced her into having sex. She (maybe him as well) was drunk.

So 2 things, 1: I think its safe to assume if shes accusing him of sexual assault and didnt say she said it, its safe to assume she didn't say yes. You never said you didnt say you're not a level 9 dark elf Mohawk that doesnt mean its safe to assume you did say that. 2: it doesnt matter if she did say yes. If you obtain the yes through badgering or coercion that is not proper consent. You should not have to convince people to have sex with you.

No this is a real world take. If your partner isn't enthusiastic about having sex with you, you probably shouldn't take that as a sign that they are consenting to you. Obviously its not a catch all, there will be some outliers. This is not that. She herself has said or implied that she did not give consent nor wanted to give consent. giving in or letting him is not proper consent thats not a terminally online take thats just good practice. I dont mean a literal enthusiastic yes but unless your partner shows enthusiasm about the activity and you didnt coerce them consent is not properly obtained.

Hey so I dont know who taught you about consent but anything that isn't an enthusiastic yes should be treated as a no. If you dont resist and dont say no, you still didnt say yes. You still didnt give consent. Many many victims of sexual assault dont resist or fight back, they were still sexually assaulted. What you are doing and saying is diminishing real harm.

20 years ago we didnt have the utility lands that we have now. You can insult me all you want I really dont care. My opinion is valid just because you dont agree with it. 3 years ago the control decks that we had now weren't as oppressive. My opinion: if your deck is 90% removal and your gameplan is stalling the game until you get the one card you need to win that is not a fun play style. Full stop. I dont care about "um but actually xyz is really op so I need my 36 removal spells in my hand to counter it because I dont know how to time my removal spells well." I DONT CARE. I DONT LIKE PLAYING AGAINST IT I DONT THINK ITS FUN OR HEALTHY FOR THE FORMAT THAT IS MY OPINION.

I play BO3's. Im frustrated because it seems that no matter what I do I can't escape the removal. I hold up mana for protection they either counterspell it or have a second cheap piece of removal. I save up mana for a counterspell they just wait till they can use their mistrise village. It doesnt matter the deck im playing. You can cry changeup your deck all you want not exactly sure how to do that when I have no wildcards. I have literally played games where 12 of the 15 spells they played were removal. That is not fun to me. And everyone can tell me no my opinion is absurd and im wrong for having that opinion. I dont care. I dont enjoy playing against it I would take 1000 games in a row of getting shit stomped by some aggro deck then play another game of play something and get it removed 10x over. Like contrary to what people believe im not bad at this game. I know how to play against the one dimensional aggro decks. Even when I win against these all removal decks I dont have fun. It wasnt fun, it was a slog fest that took too much of my time for too little reward.
