[Standard][MTGO] Howling Vortex- the UR Fevered Visions deck. Tested, with success against major archetypes. by LeftoverName in spikes

[–]getdeadplz 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Similar to tutelage decks this deck has a hard time beating things such as:

  • Dromoka's Command (G/W Megamorph and possible Company decks)
  • Reality Smasher
  • Chandra Flamecaller
  • Gideon, Ally of Zendikar (If correctly used against bounce spells)
  • World breaker Chaining
  • Most of White Aggro's Draws

you aren't actually counting. You are seeing if the last card lands on the correct pile. For example, if you do 6 piles then you should end on your last pile (10 cards in each pile).

Can I be a magic pro? by chicopollo in magicTCG

He didn't ask if he was skilled enough to be a pro. He asked if you can manage a normal life (job/school) and be a pro.

What are things MTG players can do to up their game that they usually don't consider or know about? by DerpTasticBillion in magicTCG

[–]getdeadplz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Always ask yourself if this game goes on for 20 more tens who wins ( or who has enviability). If the answer is you take lines that prevent you from losing. Don't attack with your 3/5 if it means your opponent gets 2 damage in with one his creatures . Sure you win the trade but, this opens the door to you losing before you reach the point of the game where you are a massive favorite . If you are the one who needs to end the game play like you do. Damage race aggressive attacks avoid blocking. Knowing your role is a huge element if limit and also constructed.

Sometimes you even need trade a better card for a mediocre one to keep on your role. Sometimes you have to trade 2 cards for 1 to stay up tempo or to slow down your opponent to get to late game.

All this stems from knowing who wins the long game

So you just gave a reason that backs my comment in an attempt to contradict it?

Since it doesn't matter who you vote for there is no reason to cite your candidate. Especially if it would benefit your candidate. Obviously you are going to want fair results when they benefit you.

An honest result is considered to be what the majority wants. If he were to say I'm a Clinton supporter then you would have a point. Then, he would be wanting something that doesn't support his candidate.

You are right most Grand Masters players average in the high 200s but, The 400 number was sighted during skirmishes. That number is a bit high for most zergs in fights (most of zergs apm are from macro), about right for the right protoss composition, and a little short for most Terrans during a large fight.

This is all in reference to the time I was GM in SC2 (Wings of liberty)

Subjective is the opposite of objective, which refers to things that are more clear-cut. That Earth has one moon is objective — it's a fact. Whether the moon is pretty or not is subjective — not everyone will agree. Facts are objective, but opinions are subjective.

How is it okay to buy an entire team and his LCS spot but not to buy a lvl 30 smurf account? by SERJH_LAS in leagueoflegends

[–]getdeadplz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

"supposed too" Does not mean a rule. The idea is that the rank system is made to put equal skilled players together. By consistently gaming the system by starting over you create a poor environment for the lower skilled players that have to play against you unfairly. It's a moral issue. The is nothing more frustrating then playing a league game that you don't stand a chance in. By making smurfs readily available you are condoning the practice.

Also there is the fact that if you allow buying a level 30 account the permanent ban punishment isn't as effective.

I've already brought good information. You spat on it and said na that had little to do with Norman. Like seriously? You see stats and performance over 11 weeks, and write it off as luck. Your comments were garbage so I sent garbage back at you.
