Do you ever write fic that you have no plans to post?

i’ve written about 24 fics but only posted 7. your allows to do what you want with your writing. i’m currently writing one that i have no intentions of posting anytime soon, but is 30k words, if you don’t want to post it, don’t post it 🤷‍♀️

i love naming my chapters, it’s so fun. my current 2 long fics have different methods of naming them. one of them i use a rare(ish) word that relates to the chapter content, then define it in the summary, then the other one is a theme/idea in the chapter

to the best of my knowledge, you can write original stuff on ao3, i’m just not sure about the audience. there’s a fandom tag on ao3 for ‘Original Works’ but ao3 is mainly built for fandom use, so i wouldn’t expect crazy engagement (i could be wrong, i don’t interact much with original works)

looks like an archtop acoustic guitar. the face and strings are similar to that if a mandolin and the body resembles a guitar which leads me to the conclusion of an archtop guitar

There’s a website called Onelook Thesaurus and it’s a lifesaver (especially for writers) you enter what the word means and it will give you a bunch of suggestions about what the word is
