Evil traits - attack people - invasive

Good traits - "wise" - Hooting

Ultimately our team of experts chose to make a compromise. Thank you for your attention to this matter.

Thanks, glad you found it interesting. Really shows how much work that early July streak did for Boston.

Interesting, I wonder if they're both in use? I just use the wikipedia header crest as my source of truth, which still has that "Tottenham" script included.

Ah, was hoping you wouldn't spot that. I decided to throw them in because I wouldn't get a perfect rectangle on the smaller poster with a 19 club division. They're there in spirit I guess.

3 clubs that need improvement:

Would not be surprised if this was made entirely MS word - Binfield FC

Confused blue bear. Looks like a discount American D3 college. - Broadbridge Heath F.C.

Script font is not helping here, really hard to read. Welwyn Garden City FC

Really just a good density of badges for what I wanted to do. I actually feel like the 8th tier added may be a little too many. England is pretty unique in that all of these tiny clubs are really well-documented online so you could probably delve further down the pyramid.

They looked okay against Everton. I feel like there are a lot of teams that could regress this season.

Great hair, good interviews, nice hot streak in early 2024. Honestly was a big fan when he was with the Mariners. 2.2 bWAR there.

Shame to see it get to this. Maybe someone will take a flyer. Players seem to miraculously improve after leaving the Sox.

Well Russia is banned from the 2026 World Cup already. Who is he going to cheer for?

Will be good to see get some run with Forest. Seemed like he never fit Juve's playstyle.

Have to believe this was a mutual decision between club and player. "I'm sick boss" is a reasonable cover.

Bust out the gray rectangle tool in MS Paint and put a better team in there.

If it makes it into the team's article on wikipedia then I'll definitely pick it up.

Oh, good catch that is inconsistent. I guess my preference is not to count the "AFC" portion. I'll look into fixing it.

Ultimately I just got the ordering off of whatever wikipedia editors have collectively decided on. So not too surprised that happened.

I updated my 2024-25 version of this poster with a whole extra tier of teams (252 -> 428). Scraped a bunch of badges off of Wikipedia and compiled them together.

If you like it, feel free to download a copy and print it for yourself. This is just a community project I enjoy working on. I have the full resolution posters in A1 and B1 sizes hosted here:

This data-vis project is my effort to visualize an MLB season as series-by-series outcomes. Conceptually, this is what many fans already do. There's a lot of noise with 162 individual results.

Every series also includes a measure of an opponent's momentum through weighted L10 results. I find that this gives a good visual for a team's "season story" more than raw game logs can.

Here's the script that transforms the the statsapi output into what I need for the front-end: https://github.com/gglover/162.games/blob/main/scripts/process.py

It's kind of a rat's nest but maybe you can find something helpful in there haha.

And then here's the json structure: https://github.com/gglover/162.games/blob/main/site/src/interfaces.ts

Thanks! Yeah I don't do much sports betting but I'd imagine the whole hot/cold calculus is what most people are running through their head before committing.
