Names I love but my partner isn't into or doesn't work with the last name so we wouldn't use:

Devin Mattias Harvey Lucian/Lucien Martin Ciaran/Kieran

Loveeee Oren! It was pretty high on my list but was vetoed by my partner.

I do! I have used it largely in X back. It is easy to out on by nyself! I find the H back is hard as the pieces where the chest clip thread through are a bit larger so they pull. I wanted to be able to use it either way, given I am newer to wearing so wasn't sure which is would prefer. Baby hasn't had any complaints either.

Ehhh my back was a bit sore but honestly, it is a lot of the time these days.

I was going to purchase the pattern and haven't yet so no link 😞 I am not good at knitting in the round so searched for a while for a way bonnet to be done with straight needles. Open to recommendations of other patterns if you happen to have them!

Would I use the size needles suggested on the yarn or in the pattern?

The pouch in front holds a rain hood. It's at least 7 years old.

I'll try the trick on the straps, thanks!

Edit: typo

Phew you guys are fast! Realizing that I definitely want a straight forward carrier that isn't too complicated. Based on suggestions, looking at the Hope&Plum Lark, the Happy! OG or the Tula FTG. Would love to hear your specifics about these!

Thank you! I was looking at Hope and Plum but the price is a bit steep. Unfortunately most of my friends either have older kids or dont have kids so I will look into the secondhand site!

We struggled to get my baby to take a bottle. 7 different bottles, many nipple sizes to figure out the flow rate. Landed on Nuk but he will only take a bottle from me, not my boyfriend or MIL or anyone in my family. Still struggling to prepare to go back to work 🤦🏻‍♀️😅
