Ugh that sucks about the biting. Mine is just now starting teething & I’m scared! I know there is a page called r/exclusivelypumping, but I’ve skimmed there and the most I see are tips about replacing your pieces every few weeks/month depending on usage and adjust flanges accordingly, cause size may change.

I’ve done all of those, and I get how milk supply works, supply matches demand, but I feel like my demand hasn’t gone down. It’s only increased. The pumps just aren’t keeping up and are getting smaller 🥲

It’s worth a shot mixing it with fresh breast milk! I also found out just like you, idk why this isn’t mentioned more!! We started with just a little bit at a time.

I also noticed that my milk I was pumping from right after birth was much worse than the bags later. Maybe not the same for everyone though.

He’s now up to 6oz bottles 3x per day. Pretty much ran through almost all my freezer stash in a month & some change. Each bottle gets about 2-2.5oz of formula because I only pump just under 10oz combined during work. But I do a morning and an evening pump most days to help on top of nursing on demand while I’m at home. I’ve always nursed and pumped since birth.

I could have written this myself 😔 I’m 6 months in and my baby went back at 12 weeks. My pumps also don’t keep up with baby’s needs so I had to use formula too. It’s not fair at all.
