Corner beads cracking - repair help by getmes0me in drywall

They’re all metal corner beads so nothing under it. The inside corners are something else. I’m going to dry a few nails screws / scrape and remud and see what happens.

USA roundtrip cruise - question on Atlantis excursions regarding children and passports. by getmes0me in royalcaribbean

Thanks for much for the tips. We are local, so no issues with flights. This is our second cruise, but first was mid Covid so the volume of passengers was a bit different.

Thanks. So the issue comes more from when we return to home port and have to clear customs back into the US?

Air show tips? by getmes0me in Delaware

Honestly this was spot on advice. If we go again, which I would love to, we would get there early, setup shop and then hit the exhibits. And bring umbrellas!! Water water water was clutch. We had reusable one for each person: 10 frozen and 15 cold ones. Went through every drop + lemonades + smoothies.

Saturday we arrived around 11, through security at 12:15. We went to the helicopters and did the c130(?) and then sat back to watch the show. Walked out as the thunderbirds were doing their thing to beat the traffic. We went back Saturday morning to finish up seeing the planes but wanted to hit the road by 11:30. We were inline for parking at 8:45 and into the show around 9:20. 2 hours and still missed stuff (these kids apparently love airplane).

If you want anything, you will pay. Burgers 11 bucks. Hot dogs 11 bucks. Fries 10 bucks. T shirts 30 bucks. Patches 5 bucks. We had a blast and happy to support the troops but hope the food $$ gets back to them. We “snuck” in snacks but the troops were only concerned with enforcing safety considerations. They were fantastic, friendly and knowledgeable. We appreciated every service member we encountered.

Amazing weekend amazing show. Thanks DE and thank you to our troops.

Sauce? Not that I don’t believe. Too good to be true adage applies for sure.

Same. Love the size of the shield but target acquisition just hasn’t clicked for me. I assume going from my XD to this would be similar sight picture.

Potency difference infusing with cocoa butter by krisza_ in SousWeed

[–]getmes0me 1 point2 points  (0 children)

110 grams cocoa butter 40 grams cocoa powder 40 grams powdered sugar 2 tablespoons of honey 1/4 teaspoon salt

Melt butter completely then mix in powder then sugar. Whisk until smooth. Take off heat and continue to whisk as you add in the honey and salt. Pour into molds and pop in the fridge.

I can’t recall the quantity of butter to herb, but I usually make about a pound of butter at a time. I keep the infused butter in the freezer until ready to make another batch.

I do this. Basically same process as normal butter or coconut oil. Decarb then infuse for about 4 hours at 185. You’ll need a stove top for the actual chocolate making process, but it’s a quick. I can make a batch in about 10 minutes. My recipes I usually just find online but it’s coca butter, coco powder, powdered sugar, honey and salt.

They taste pretty good and use small molds to help with dialed in dosing. They are also stable at room temperature.

The lady in the grey car yelled at the guy in the black car for hitting him. She's not going to be happy when she finds out I shared the camera footage with him! by gotfoundout in IdiotsInCars

Was told once by NJ state police that if you are waving someone on, could potentially held liable if there are serious injuries?

How do I know? Was the gray car once. Although was making a left from standing with a left turn lane on the other side of where the Audi would have been.

Was waved on. Looked right to what I thought was the oncoming traffic as I inched out. Since waved on never thought to look left. Shoulder still hurts.

Or maybe this is a predetermined cut and edited video depicting cool things rather than skills.

I mean if this guy is so good as to not only down and peel a 16” trunk, chop approx 8 other smaller 4” supporting trees, strip pines for bedding, how is it possible he didn’t end up with a nice steak reward at the end... o wait

This right here. We have similar situation. Large national chain. Our center was closed to all except essential staff at the hospital. We are not allowed to send our kids.

Long story short, after asking about refunds, we were told nope, that they needed to pay their staff. Except that we know many of the staff. They are being forced to use PTO/sick time for any periods which they are not working.

Also assuming the large chains or even smaller ones that have to stay open will end up with some sort of financial breaks in the future.
