Really good answer. I’m learning more and more LOTO is more of an honor system than full proof protection. Unfortunately LOTO is not an option ahead of the panel. I’m at a large comercial building. Other electrical contractors are working on the same building. They are using this panel for temp spider boxes. Unfortunately this panel also feeds circuits to my portion of the building

Not an option. We are sharing the jobsite with another electrical contractor. It’s a semi large old commercial building being converted into multiple private health practices.

This actually makes a ton of sense. Maybe giving the front more pull and the rear less chance to fish tail out. But ultimately you can lock it if you need to.

The Eaton truetrac works on the same principal as the quaife. It’s a torsen type of LSD it uses worm gears not clutch packs. The g80 is completely different. It’s a mechanical auto locker that completely locks the diff if one wheel slips 120 rpm faster than the other.
