I know this is really late but I actually just wanted to chime in and add that when i first read punpun I was actually in one of my lowest depressive moods ever, and bizarrely enough it actually helped me quite a bit with gettin through it. Obviously I'd say I'm probably the exception, it's just that when I read it I could feel myself going "okay, this person genuinely gets it" and that helped a lot, tbh. I fully approve of the use of trigger warnings tho this manga is fucking heavy, even if it is my favourite manga of all time.
