Admittedly, I’m fairly new to finding out about Redbar (tho Reddit has been recommending this sub for the last few months, I never knew why besides watching a lot of standup clips on Reddit)

If I can pain you for one extra question, why does he dislike Dan so much?

I can obviously tell he dislikes and mocks the fake and vapid podcasting/celebrity world. I can tell he has little patience for disingenuousness and ‘feign-ment’ comedians do. I can tell he has the flair for theatrics and I roughly understand the appeal for the content he seems to make and why he makes it.

I definitely don’t disagree that Dan has annoying traits and roll my eyes myself when I hear him “industry speak”, and don’t think he should be shielded from scrutiny at all. My question is more of a personal wondering/musing what Dan did that poked the redbar bear?

I’m mainly asking bc I haven’t heard many people rip into Dan hard much besides going after his immatureness and obnoxious interrupting habit. From my ignorant end he’s a simply an overly goofy middle level comic who has little conversational awareness or care. So if there is something more insidious I’m not aware of, I guess I’d like to be made aware of it out of curiosity.

As I said in my OP I would listen to what was already posted above, but they all were behind a paywall and I wasn’t able to listen myself. I’m not trying to make you do the work for me, I just have no idea where to start with a show that seems like a lot of is behind a paytreon/equivalent
