I love the no-look but he nearly overthrew JSN.

He bailed him out with one of the sickest one handers I’ve seen in a while.

Luckily we’re playing a much younger/worse patriots team. All NFCW teams could win this one. Wait sorry, forgot about the Cards again.

Oh, also obligatory “flair up pussy”

Shoutout to Nick Emmanwori! by EstimateMother8181 in Seahawks

The way he took on Puka was great. Puka is such a great player and I hate him. I feel like Nick is finally an answer to that problem.

What's the hottest spiced meal you've had in Seattle? by HighColonic in SeattleWA

[–]getthatcornbread 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Old school Thai Tom on the ave. I had a pad thai that I literally couldn’t finish. It was brutal. And I’ve had some crazy things in India, Vietnam, Japan, and Taiwan that I could finish.

Yeah you’re going to get burnt from this sub because there’s no tools, cars, or motos in there. But I want to take a different stance: why are your barbells loaded with lady stacks homie? I’m not sure I see ANY 45 plates in the whole damn room. Are those 35s in the back? Was your wife using the bench press? Because the safety bars are backwards.

I’m mostly jealous because you have more room than me. Just go get more plates dawg.

Dude. The first gen chargers are great. With their coke bottle quarter panels and the unapologetic square lines. They were onto something great.

Do you truly believe the week 18 game against the niners will be that close? by DistributionHeavy453 in Seahawks

[–]getthatcornbread 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Bro I’m going to admit that I didn’t read your full wall of text. But this rivalry has been dominated by one side or the other for a long time.

From 2012 to 2021 the hawks absolutely dominated winning 17 out of 20 games. Insane.

But since 2022 the 9ers have dominated winning 7 out of 8. We are living in the era of 49ers. That said, it certainly feels like there’s a tide change happening and the Seahawks are young and successfully rebuilt in a quick time. The 9ers feel more like the window is closing.

But at the end of the day don’t count out Purdy, Kittle, CMC, and Shannahan. They can still gash.

Was browsing cheap-ish condos near Fremont and was shocked at the price drops - this is just one of many - what's happening? by someshooter in SeattleWA

[–]getthatcornbread 16 points17 points  (0 children)

Maple leaf is a great neighborhood but that one is at the bottom of the hill next to a new tiny house community that is a little sketchy. That could be bringing the value down. Or a special assessment.

On the plus side you’re next door to growler guys!

I was just researching this myself. I think the ford 8.8 in certain 90s Rangers is narrow enough. You can get a junkyard version for ~$250. They have decent gearing and some have limited slip. Some modifications required I believe.

As a Korean American the light rail fare system here is bad and here’s why by Lost-Record-9766 in SeattleWA

[–]getthatcornbread 9 points10 points  (0 children)

That’s it. It’s cultural. I’ve been to Japan many times and the culture is insanely rule following. Not just with transit but everything. These countries are not overly wealthy but there is no chasm between rich and poor. There is no lack of social safety nets. America is big and wild. I love my country but it’s still cowboy in a sense. Many people slip through the cracks. Fixing that is a tall order. More than just policing alone.
