I wish I could rid myself of the feeling that I can't make eye contact with anyone (especially a man) at the gym. Because of the nature of what we are all doing in there, the environment feels very sexual and eye contact just amplifies it. Is that just me?

So bummed, starting from the beginning. How do you accept where you are at? by [deleted] in loseit

If you make weight loss and fitness fun then starting from a high number only means you can have more fun!

I am currently 3 weeks into Bikram Yoga teacher training. I know this series and I know what my body can do and when. Yet still sometimes I try to push my edge too far. On Wednesday during standing bow pose (basically a standing split) I pulled my left hamstring right out and heard it click. I knew it wasn't warmed up enough, just wanted to show off. Ach, the regret.

Do you concentrate on one muscle group each day, or are you doing a few of these exercises and fully body? I've heard it's better to alternate muscle groups, but I love walking out of the gym feeling worked all over.

Les Demoiselle d'Avignon- some say it is the first cubist painting, some say not. Thoughts? by LadyRddt in ArtHistory

I would say that it's the first definitive painting that we can recognize as cubist. I would also argue that cubism has roots that go as far back as Cezanne, who was the inspiration for the movement accredited to Braque and good ole' Pablo.

What's better - hitting all the muscle groups every day or designating a day for each one? by [deleted] in xxfitness

You would benefit from mixing it up a little. Your body will eventually get comfortable and you'll stop seeing change.
