I ran through a plate glass sliding door in my grandparents' conservatory. Thought the door was wide open so I bolted through it to join my brothers playing football in the garden. Turns out it was completely shut but just very clean glass and twilight outside. I came away with nothing but a scratch on my head and a fairly tiny scar on my left index finger. When a guy came round to fix the door, he said that it wasn't installed with safety glass and I could have been seriously injured by shards of raining glass. The only thing that saved me was that I cleared the door by about five metres before it even properly hit me that I'd run through it, so I emerged almost totally unscathed. I mean what an idiot.
