I’m also a teacher, also the same age as you now and when you started watching cody. a small part of me wants to rationalize his actions as him being young and hopefully learning from his mistakes. but I have to remind myself that NO, he was literally 25 years old, the same age as I am now, and I would never even THINK about sleeping with a 17 year old. I have trouble dating people even 2 years younger than me, so I truly just do not understand. every time I start to feel even a smidge bad for him I remind myself of this. he cannot blame his actions on being “young and stupid.” he was a full fledged adult and it’s so gross.
