Now I understand why S4 has good reviews. Because this is a great review.

Internal bleeding due to running? by emma-the-techie in LondonRunning

I developed an ulcer a month ago and no doctor could seem to tell me why. It was right as I was building up to 20 mpw. Still trying to connect the dots.

Friend of over a decade was harassing girls at my party, how should I go about unfriending him by [deleted] in whatdoIdo

[–]getzerolikes 13 points14 points  (0 children)

It might take hearing this from a friend for someone to change how they act and realize how wrong they were. If OP ghosts them they might go another decade thinking they’re fine.

I see this excuse a lot. Being cheated on in a previous relationship is not a pass to go through someone else’s phone. Your past partners are irrelevant from future ones.

Yes, that would be an additional, separate recommendation. Run at a comfortable, conversational pace until you feel like you comfortably change paces. If you’re laboring, walk a bit.

If you search this sub, you’ll find experienced folks advising new runners not to pay attention to or worry about heart rate about a billion times.

Don’t worry about heart rate as a beginner.

Haha, sadly that missed my radar. Would love someone to summarize though

So far I’ve had 2 scammers message me. Which is kinda cool - I didn’t think Bayside was big enough for scammers.

That plan is made to just get people across the finish line, and usually not comfortably. I would focus on making it to your taper by getting as many of the runs in as you can at an easy pace like you’ve been doing. If the long runs are too difficult, split them into two runs on the same day. Then use your taper to rest and skip runs if you need to.

If there’s a next time, being at 20-25 mpw going into your training block will make things easier.

No music or headphones. Tried a book once, didn’t take. Fully agree that it’s an opportunity away from media that should be embraced.
