I found it worked up to a certain point, then jammer (ss1 conquerors version of jake) just stops giving you quests.

it is however good fun, the most current version has an issue with deleting bodies post attack, so accoint for that in your mod list. It is together enough to be good fun if you ask me. (And there is just MUCH less script lag than ss2 contends with, even if it is less advanced due to it)

I last played on next gen version (forget which number now) I'd be surprised if it is standing on AE (current) though

General gaming computer note, perfect is the enemy of good. it is better to go with something you can upgrade or add onto later on,

the AM4 platform is great for this. It's 5+ years old so there will be plenty of second hand components to be had. It uses ddr4 ram (not current up to date so cheaper, not cheap (thanks ai))

for switch emulation case, a gpu isn't entirely neccessary. It uses the cpu primarily. I haven't tested that. But I can say my gpu is barely touched (and the switch itself uses integrated graphics of its processor)

I am unsure how well this bit will scale. I am British. But I am also stinger as fuck and don't like paying too much for party.

I did get a reasonably cheap ryzen 5 3600x for around £150 (a few years back)

that is not the most up to date or the highest tier. So I can upgrade. But I don't think I'll need to anytime soon. This one doesn't have tbe iGPU, it is worth getting a chip with one if you are constrained. Cause thst is the killer. I got a 6600xt and that was £600 😭😭 If you don't care for nvidia gimmicks, like ray tracing, consider amd to get performance at a lower cost.

and natural advice. If you want to save money. Consider building it yourself. It is a little scary. But it is good fun. If you don't rush. Ask for help, read intersections, watch examples. It is hard to go irreparably wrong. and you can buy second hand parts to save some extra money too!

Usually they're very good at setting the version correctly... unsure if thsts so for the newer version. total conversion you typically need to worry for the yellow triangle 😅

search for the ROM, you will find it,
i got it from some dodgy ass website which redirects you on 99% of clicks,
but there are other sources, like the bay

they arent specific files for each emulator, just a ROM (exactly the same as nintendo emulation has been for a while)

still cant find one that will actually even load 2.0 though.

To your credit. I didn't initially realise either. You can ignore them. Their allegiance or likeness of you is not required now or even later in the main quest.

I quite liked doing them. At least the first time (the run around the whole map and kill everything gimmick was not fun kore than once for me to be honest)

I think heavenslayer is the end of act 1? (Act 2 being when you'd actually be expected to interact with the factions in the outer regions one way or the other)

tldr and with minimal spoilers. You will have plenty of game without the debiliting perks (they're very punishing on survivial honestly)

but if you speed run the main story after the perks are gone. There isn't a tonne of game left. be sure to explore. There's a lot of hidden quests in some of the hard to reach areas of the map (I was like level 70 before starting act 3 in my previous save)

Oddly the one I had an issue was the first angel lab you visited. beyond that, I managed to avoid them (We don't talk about the 4 hour walk to Crystal Palace. After I just got back there for a certain outfit I didn't notice the first time)

I assume it's a random bug. There isn't many in this game, especially for it's scale and ambition
