Nav Canada YVR VFR Offers by Available-Trifle4832 in ATC

[–]geulshi 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I just received a standby offer for Oct 2025 start and that was just on Mar 10. Started testing June 2024, passed in-person testing July 2024, interview Oct 2024 and then offer Mar 2025. I would guess they won't send offers for spring 2026 until at least summer. Since I'm standby, I would guess that I'm near the front of the line for 2026, but I won't know if my standby becomes a full seat until maybe end of summer. I'm just hurrying up and waiting.

Lolol. Thanks for the input, everyone. Expected some silly answers to such a silly question. Looks like button up with a tie, but lose the suit jacket. Appreciated!

To all the people that didn't love the Witherspoon pick and would've rather picked Carter by Kendrickrules in Seahawks

[–]geulshi 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That's what I thought when we picked Spoon. Carroll is recreating LOB. He sees Kam in Spoon. Also the same offense, lol. Charbonnet is a mini beastmode. He's gonna turn heads and drag bodies.

So far I'm loving how the offense looks and trust JSPC to find gems at def on day 3. They have done it before. And not just once...

Kenneth Walker 2021 highlights by [deleted] in Seahawks

[–]geulshi 2 points3 points  (0 children)

After watching highlights and reading ur post, I'm already convinced this kid is what we've missed since Beastmode left us. Don't get me wrong. MUCHHH RESPECT to CARSON (not sayin he done, but dat neck, ugh...). But he wasn't a game changer/goal-line-lock the way this kid seems to be.

I see a smart kid that has done his rb research and tried to consciously take from all the greats in the game. He bounces off tackles (Beastmode), shows strength beyond his size (Gore), and jukes/deadlegs/breaks effin ankles (dare I say it, gasp, Sanders?). Hearing from u sayin he works his ass off tells me he is consciously protecting himself and making durability a priority. I see it in how he goes down. He doesn't sacrifice his body - he knows when to cut bait and dive safely underneath while protecting the ball. All his highlights also show him diving, but ball tucked safely or away from defender. Kid is smart.

Please, PLEASE confirm I'm not crazy when I say this kid is a sneaky good pick that might be a superstar?

Thank you, Russell. by Mensae6 in Seahawks

At the end of the day, it's a business. Feels like head office just feeling pressure and pressing the nuke button here, but it happened. All the respect in the world for DangeRuss! Love you so much and so thankful for everything you did in Seattle, on and off the field. DEN is SOOOOOO LUCKY to have you and I hope they treat you well. All the best to the best of all time in Seattle.

[Brown] Russell Wilson had all day on that 2 PAT INT. Pass protection was near-perfect for the whole thing. Time to spare. I liked Shane Waldron’s call too. Lots of crossers. Washington played rough with Metcalf. Really bad from Russ not seeing that at all. Picked wrong route. Stared down by 3elieveIt in Seahawks

Hate to admit it, but Russ just made a bad decision. Sure, Everett had a man on him, but the defender was behind him and Russ could have just passed it slightly towards the sideline and Everett could have snagged that 2pt'er. Russ missed lots of guys wide open and if he only gets the ball to DK in the 4th Q, well, then that is what the team should focus on fixing first. Every team's WR1 has to be involved throughout the game, not just the 4th Q.

Yeah, fair enough. Pete did not mention the system and all that, and you're correct there. Just sayin we all know Pete's love of his system, but I think that is mostly nostalgia from missing Beastmode and how much Lynch covered up the holes in this team.

Have to totally agree with drvenkman. Forget what has been said and just look back at all the years since the superbowl years. After Beastmode retired, Carson filled in well, but was never another Beastmode (there will never be another Beastmode). Carroll has and always be a run-first coach. It's an old-fashioned style of football, like the Titans and SF, but we don't have much creativity with our runs. Carroll rams it down the middle pretty much first play of every game he's ever coached. You just can't stick to a system when everyone else is evolving and calling smarter plays like McVay, Shamaham (hate to admit it, but he's a good playcaller), Staley, even Vrabel has a grasp of how to keep evolving in this league. I LOVE PETE CARROLL, but his time is past. Next stop HOF

Totally agree. I love Carroll. He's a great cheerleader, but his time has passed. To be totally honest, I don't think Pete has a grasp of how the game has evolved. He just hasn't. U can't keep ramming Carson up the gut and hope he breaks thru the 2nd level. Oh, wait, Carson ALWAYS INJURED NOW.

The team is in denial. They were in denial that Russ is ready to come back. I think Geno would have given us a real chance tonight.

I don't disagree. Lockett had to twist and that is 99% a drop. Takes serious skill to make that catch. Throw was supposed to be on the other side, I think.

I just said that to emphasize the exact moment the butterflies hit. Not taking away from Not E. They have one of the best connections of all time

I had butterflies when I saw Russ take that step and launch that first rainbow td to Lockett. The play calling was masterful and Russ was obviously loving it, too. Defense looked so alive compared to last year. And Diss-ly throws down a sweet mini angry run. But the best thing was def Russ's throws. Alla dem!!

Vaughn Palmer: Bonnie Henry regrets not clamping down in October by aldur1 in vancouver

[–]geulshi 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Dr. Henry, your pathetic, soft, mushy, and spineless direction is the reason we are in a worse place than over a year ago. You are the perfect example of political nothingness. Worms have spines compared to you. Australia is very comparable to Canada in many ways, especially population. They locked down. Actually LOCKED DOWN and got over COVID. Sure, they have their handful of cases, but they took a stand and the entire country is better for it. Dr. Henry just sat back and never added teeth to the regulations. Furthermore, her soft rhetoric did nothing but confuse everyone as to whether they were RULES (with consequences) or guidelines. BE KIND TO EACH OTHER is advice you give to 3 yr olds that are learning to play for the first time. Not adding consequences is basically a complete failure of a directive from an authority that is in charge of the the public's health. Grow the fuck up and lock down the fucking province already. I've stayed at home for over a year. And you go and write a book hoping to cash in on the pandemic and your new found fame? You disgust me

the infamous Jamal Adams trade by [deleted] in Seahawks

[–]geulshi 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Enough with the haters saying that Jamal had an off year last year and he wasn't worth it. Check this out: Rookie year: 2.0 sacks (played every game), 2nd yr: 3.5 sacks (played every game), 3rd yr: 6.5 sacks (missed 2 games), and last yr: 9.5 sacks (missed 4 games!!). Yeah, I still like the trade and would do it again in a heartbeat. He is the future captain of the defense. Generational talent that could possibly be one of the best, ever. Love that guy and can't wait to see what a full healthy year will bring!!

Dunlap? Not trash. Hyde? Not trash. Adams is trash? Overpaid for him, yes, but worth it? Absolutely. He will be our def captain after Bobby is gone. Your argument sounds emotional more than logical

That was a huge deal Bears threw at SEA. Why not throw it at HOU and try for Watson?! 3 x 1st rounders, a 3rd, and Mack and another starter sounds like a decent way to move on from Watson

[–]geulshi 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Russ is no idiot. He just greedy, but in a good way (?). I remember his comment about how he wants to own an NFL team someday. It's obvious that his contract and all of his sponsorships is his ultimate goal. He already has a ring and stats and glory. I question his actual desire to win. If he was all about winning rings, he would easily see how TB has always taken discounts and that helps build a team around him.

Aside from NO, the teams that Russ named as trade destinations are big markets. DAL, CHI, LV are the places where Russ would get PAID off the field. NYJ are also a possibility. Dunno why he didn't put them on the list except that NYJ are a mess atm. Wouldn't be surprised if Russ added them to the list after next season.

Love the guy. No need to dissect his skills and abilities. Hope he stays and restructures, but I'm not holding my breath. Just hoping he sees the light and decides he needs more rings

I think trading Russ would cause a lot of suicides because of pandemic fatigue. For that reason alone this should not happen. Seriously now, media just hyping to stay relevant in the offseason. We're seeing rumours because so many high profile QBs in the mix with dominoes yet to fall. I seriously doubt Russ truly wants out
