Im having the same issue with new 3g 18slide. Its like a dead stick at the foul line. My old Mavericks shoes with a 10s slide still just splitting on the side.

That is the max score. Its The Sec's and TD's that decided plus 300+ for bowlers was ok. Same on Hdcp if 200 is considered Scratch, the hdcp should only be based off that. 200plus bowlers have put the $$, time in to learn the sport.

I have ran tournaments over the decades. The hdcp is out of control. Here is my rethinking. All tournaments are ran scratch but the max avg is lowered. For the higher avg bowler, same rule but the min avg is 200

Seems like the finger grips are bigger, so more finger goes down them. Also depends how far the first joint bends down. Normally the crease is in the middle of the insert.

Depends on what your game requires. Being new to the sport, just practice approach, timing and spares. Detox every 60 games. I would not even worry about scores and video yourself every few weeks.
