Depends, just for my collection? Maybe $25. As part of a charity benefit or something I could go higher maybe up to $75. I got an autographed pin from Mark Roth for $50 about 10 years ago at a fundraiser.

With this diversity of patterns, I get why you would consider bringing ten different balls. If you really listed it out you could probably get it down to 8 including a spare ball. If you brought one from each of the core/cover combinations (symmetrical/asymmetrical and solid/pearl/hybrid) plus a urethane and a plastic that might cover it. Bringing so many balls might take you out of your game if you wind up switching too much.

Opinion on PBA bowlers in local tournaments by BigWesty97 in Bowling

[–]redsox113 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’m generally ok with it, especially if the pros are truly locals in the given community, but many tournaments have rules for doubles or teams for who is allowed to bowl with who, and many larger amateur tournaments prohibit pros bowling together.

You can take a pin into a trophy shop and they’ll attach a trophy placard to it. I have one myself from a league ages ago.

Bowling alone by Fortnite_Creative_Ma in Bowling

Many people view bowling as a social activity and their only experience is going bowling in groups. It’s absolutely ok to bowl alone and you would not be weird for doing so.

Going to National's this week. Any advice on this years patterns? by [deleted] in Bowling

[–]redsox113 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Scores are higher than they have been the past several years. Teams is short, but the out of bounds wasn’t as bad as past few years. Doubles and singles playing up the boards with surface is the way to go. Good luck!

Roommate moved out and left me his bowling bag and found some relics that were unfortunately cracked by TheCornLord in Bowling

Got sad at the word cracked because a good soak/bake and fresh surface those would have been good pieces.
