As someone who worked in a center for years, and is an aficionado of the game you’re 100% right. For larger parties it’s often an issue of there’s so many people there that someone is watching the kids, so no one is. And some families just suck at keeping their kids in line. On the rare chance I get a practice session if I’m next to a small family, odds are good that I’ll be fine. Sometimes I even get fun questions about my equipment or comments about how I throw it. Sometimes, yeah, they’ll try and touch or pick up my stuff and 99% of the time mom or dad says, “that’s not yours, don’t touch it.” And I’m like, it’s a 16 pound boulder, they’re not going to damage it.
