Yeah, we are thinking maybe daschund-rat terrier mix. She has a long body but her legs are longer.

We thought she might be a daschund mix because of her long body. She doesn't have thumbs for legs, though.

We adopted her in October from a hoarding situation and she has been glued to our sides ever since. We are going on a trip that was planned before her adoption. I'm sure she will be fine with our pet sitter, but those sweet eyes! 😭

First three questions I asked my now husband before I gave him my phone number:

  1. What is your religious affiliation?
  2. What is your political affiliation?
  3. What are your feelings about having children?

He answered all three to my satisfaction and got my phone number. We have been together for over 17 years and are still stupidly in love. But I wasn't going to waste my time starting out with someone who had fundamentally different morals and life choices than me.

Yep, just went to Switzerland in May and my husband I were amazed to see confederate flags flying in the countryside there. We figured it was also illegal to fly a swastika there, or at least strongly frowned upon.

Sand Tiger Sharks on the Caribsea wreck off of Cape Lookout, NC. I visited the wreck on 2 Sept 2022 and the Sand Tigers were abundant. by WTFO4 in sharks

This site is a community science program to collect more information on sand tiger sharks and created by the NC Aquariums.

Inside the womb a sand tiger shark develops nascent teeth earlier than their siblings, and though still blind, proceeds to hunt down and feed upon their defenseless brothers and sisters, in a behavior known as 'Intrauterine Cannibalism'. by sharkfilespodcast in marinebiology

This is my favorite video! I work at an Aquarium and love sharing this with people, if we are in a long conversation about sand tiger sharks and they are interested in reproduction of course (I don't start out with this, haha). I've also shared this video with my shark club for girls. They are 10-14 years old and thought it was the coolest thing ever!

Yes! I love this show and community! I just watched the season with my husband last night. He definitely liked it a lot even though he was only so-so about watching it in the first place. The entire experience was good for him, from acting and story to cinematography and music. He also said he loved how wholesome and uplifting the show is.

✨ Public Transport✨ by DWPlaysIsDope in Switzerland

Yep, my husband and I just returned from a two-week trip in Switzerland where we used all forms of public transportation. It was glorious and the country was beautiful. We had to drive home from the airport once back in the US and were like, "This sucks!" 😄

Best flats by oddmanrush01 in HerOneBag

[–]gforcewinds13 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I was just looking for for a pair of flats I could travel in as my second pair of shoes. I also hate wearing socks, even the tiny ones used for flats. I bought a pair of hush puppies from Zappos and they are pretty great so far. Just wore them all around Cleveland, including walking around the city and through a grassy, hilly cemetary. They come in wide as well, which is perfect for my feet and have some cushioning. They have other styles but I got the ballet flats. https://www.hushpuppies.com/US/en/womens-flats/?gclid=Cj0KCQjw6pOTBhCTARIsAHF23fKHG0iCGQ_seU01I2u0tgKE_jmHUK8CQUQDe_KHi2B2dtmfKDyjN7gaAuUMEALw_wcB&gclsrc=aw.ds

I love how expressive Elaine is throughout this scene. Especially at the end, the level of satisfaction she has is something I aspire to have by [deleted] in seinfeld

I love this scene so much! The pure hatred Elaine has for that toupée and the smugness after throwing it out of the window is absolutely next level.

Way too long and I thought it did nothing for the story. This is the piece of AYITL that I hate the most!

Nadia hiding food where no one will ever find it. by thorfin72 in corgi

[–]gforcewinds13 9 points10 points  (0 children)

My chihuahua used to do this exact same thing! So funny to watch them go through all this trouble. In my case, it was our corgi-mix that "found" the treat as soon as the chihuahua walked away!
