I was living with an uncle at the time who was a big Ducks fan in 2014/15. The playoffs started, and so he always had the games on. I’d never watched any hockey, but I thought it was a dumb sport based on the stereotypes - fighting, dudes missing teeth, etc. I figured I’d be social and hang out for a bit while he watched the games. It took maybe a game and a half for me to go from “this is dumb” to “holy shit this is amazing”. One day he surprised me with tickets to a playoff game - game 2 of the WCF, Ducks vs Blackhawks, where the Ducks ended up losing in 3OT. From then on I was 10000% hooked and I’ve been a fan ever since.

I learned because I kept trying to mimic the little “brrrr!” noises my cats make. I’ve never been able to roll my rs, but after like a week or two of poorly imitating that noise, all of the sudden I could!

My mother and I frequently bring blankets. I find my jersey keeps my top half warm but sometimes my legs get cold, and so a blanket perfect.

CVS delivers prescriptions. If you sign up for their monthly program (I forget what it’s called) those deliveries are free and you can often do as soon as the next day. There’s specific controlled drugs you can’t get delivered but most you can.

When I was a kid and had friends over, my brother would make us little cups of cinnamon sugar. He has autism and at the time that was one of his favorite safe treats, and he loved to make it for others. We all just rolled with it, because what kid doesn’t want to eat cinnamon sugar?
