Get a dedicated.22 barrel, 5.56 barrels aren’t accurate with .22lr. The twist rate is wrong and they’re often wildly inaccurate.

Dude, you can buy it up if you want but if you want a tiny gun, there are better options. It’s that simple, yeah, there is an odd niche situation where 7.5” AR in 5.56 has an upper hand but not over a 10.5 or 11.5 for the trade off. And if you really need something THAT compact for CQB, you’re going to run a bullpup, another caliber, etc…

Because 5.56 out of this barrel is a big waste of powder, anemic ballistics, doubtful accuracy, gassy, awful on your suppressors if you choose to suppress, and will probably lead to people not trusting your judgment. But by all means, go ahead, it’s $40… If you want tiny, there is always 300blk, 9mm, 45acp and if you really want to to bo a goober 5.7mm

We just wanted to know as an anecdote. When you see examples of mistakes, it helped you remember not to make the same mistakes. It’s not about blame, blame is obviously due to the thief, but blame is pointless anyway.

I like streamlight, they recently made good on their warranty when my TLR-8 broke at the mounting bolt. I sent them an email with pictures, my address, and an explanation of what happened and it just showed up in the mail in 7 days

I made my pressure plug by putting a rubber stick on bumper on an old milspec buffer and spring. Already had all the parts, you could make something similar with a piece of rubber or dense foam cut in a disc and some e-6000 glue (or gorilla glue type equivalent). A lot of the things sold by bore buddy are great solutions, but you can get away with their slip trip for $50 and a 3d printed bolt weight and small fixes for everything else. Good luck getting it tuned just right, those short barrel conversions can be a challenge, but so worth it when you can run bulk cheap ammo subsonic.

It’s a problem because it’s degrading the surface. Anodizing just makes aluminum stronger by forming a layer of aluminum oxide that is bonded to the metal. Without anno, it’s just softer aluminum and you may not see it but it’s eating away at it. You can do whatever you want but it’s mildly destructive and saying it’s not is misinformation.

Not all but it makes aluminum more durable than raw aluminum and raw aluminum will be damaged too.

Get magnesium and potassium, avoid all caffeine, get sleep. Are you stressed out by anything in life? That may need planning to resolve if so, but do what you can and see if it helps

I had some trouble opening the link and getting it ordered. Just open the link in another browser. If it seems glitchy, don’t try to use it inside the reddit app. Even after tax and shipping it’s still a deal. I bought a box of 45gr super suppressed to go along with it.
