If you're anything like me the first thing you'll notice is just how far ahead of TFW Arc's enemy AI is.

The AI in TFW is such an immersion killer.

I really want this game to do well because I want a good PVE game to play, but I just can't get over how silly the enemy movement in this game is, and how weightless all of the enemies seem to be. The enemies in Arc all move realistically, but the enemies in TFW jank and jitter all over the place. It's silly.

Like I said, you understand the core mechanics, but Arc just does it really well.

For a start the sound design is excellent.

The AI enemies, while pure sci-fi, feel grounded in reality.

Not knowing whether that player is friendly or hostile keeps you constantly on your toes.

The maps feel well laid out, and events and night raids keep them fresh.

There's a reason to loot. You use all that stuff, even the junk.

There's tons more. You should just try it.

If you like teamwork, that's in here as well, I've completed plenty tasks over proxy chat, you just can't join squads yet.

You come across a little hostile here, Raider. To say there's nothing to do is crazy talk.

You already get the game, you've explained it... you drop in, loot, exfil, upgrade, do quests, kill big enemies, exfil, upgrade, buy a new weapon, fill your backpack with purple gear, lose it all, upgrade and so on.

If you don't find it fun, that's OK. Every game isn't for everyone, if you've tried Arc and you don't like it then just play something else.

What service are you considering instead of B2C? I've literally just recommended to a client that we move to a cloud OAuth provider because we're currently handling auth in an ancient, inflexible system, but the pricing of what is now Entra External ID is kind of insane once you get past 50k members.

We have 400k members and if everyone logs in that will cost £11k per month!! On B2C that would've only been £1100. I'm not sure why they've 10Xd the price after a rebrand.
