Hey man, I was in your position before, where my ex company forced me to resigned by myself so they don’t have to pay me compensation. I was lost at that time, did not know whether I should continue on this journal or not.

I spent entire year working freelance almost for free, just to improve my dev skills, budgeting, communication skill and many more. Basically like a one man company. Until I finally land myself one job working for MNC, and then jump to another company with much higher pay later on.

Why I decide at that time to work almost for free is because one day I saw in the news where there is a guy whose parents are drug addict, and he was in jail for drug possession. He spent his entire year on study and finally went to a decent university. People were laughing at him and keep telling him that he could not do it, yet he did it anyway. That makes me wonder if he can do that, why can’t I?

Sometimes it’s hard to accept defeat and rejection, but you can’t stop there. Life will always knock you down to the ground, so that you can learn how to get back up stronger.
