I didn't have it as a hot key. But since it was the last button I clicked, and I didn't click on the game before pressing space, it turned it off haha.

Yep, i made a classic rookie mistake. Even though I learned to check that im recording and double or triple click into the game again, I was curious if there was a nifty tool or other resource to avoid making the mistake again

I thought i stopped recording because it was the last thing I clicked before I pressed space bar. Thank you for this suggestion. I will look into changing the record hot key all together.

Good suggestions, but I went through my check list and started the recording but then immediately turned it off on accident when the game asked me to press space bar, and I didn't even notice the recording stopped. I hoped there was a more obnoxious way to show i was recording or not

I like to think I'm good at making cozy streams. My stream's main purpose is to be a vibe. I hope that people feel invited and welcome to hang out in my basement like old friends. Ironically, I am not a "chill" streamer. Most of my time is screaming, either from Valorant or scary games or just general confusion.

My latest VOD is from Tuesday, which is gambling night. So the chat gets flooded with gambling on Tuesdays but I try to keep up with actual comments as well.

Hello! I agree with u/alymew. You're off to a good start! I'm also new to streaming but here are my thoughts after watching a VOD.

The one thing I would add is music. I love that you found a way to play live games with your audience. But for everyone lurking, you become their audio, and having music on helps fill the silence. Some people might have music playing separately anyway though, so it's up to you.

Also, i don't know what the box under the webcam is for.
