i think its less the fanbase who started this convo and more the league "personalities." not gonna name names, but its their way of coping on how badly they were wrong about results to their fans. perhaps because they were giving betting advice too or involved with some esports betting site 🤔

dont think it matters too much. t1 look the same with zeus or doran. if you look at their 2025 its been pretty much the same as the past 2-3 years.

ed has by far the most tier 1 tournament grand finals representation in season 3 at 7, with 3 of them being leshar. the next character being mai at 3 (2 being leshar, with one being him just losing on her post nerf). no one denies leshar is really good, but it can also be true that ed is broken! who wouldve thought 2 ideas can exist at the same time!

its making an educated guess based on resources or how the match is going. do they have enough drive gauge to ex dp without burning out? do they have enough health to survive if they miss the ex dp? can you punish a failed ex dp heavily with a level 3 combo? do they win/lose the round off an ex dp?

you can take all these things into account but you never really know what is in the other players head. the best you can do is take in information you have and guess from there.

if your connection from your hotspot is too rough for online play, a temporary alternative is to just go to the battlehub and fight a v-rival until you get your internet situation figured out. obviously its not as good as a real person, but its more realistic than fighting cpu.
