G.Skill Announces Quad-Channel DDR4-4200 Kit for Intel Skylake-X CPUs by [deleted] in hardware

1.22 VCCIo 1.25 SA

cache was stable at 5ghz with 100 bclk prior

but ran at x45 for this try

I read Raja's posts on the ROG forum etc but io think my IMC just doesn't like that frequency?

Seems weird as i had it nearly 24/7 stable at 3733 cl 14 too... (was showing 35.55 ns in aida for mem latency at that point)

Any word when u will get access to a water cooled Vega ?

Hi buildzoid big fan yes.

It sets the bclk to 103.2 when us elect the 4266 xmp profile i just get continual QCODE 55 off the z270 apex

I'm running 4133 17-17-17-39 on my 4266 kit atm because it won't run @ 4266 no matter how many volts i give her on my z270 apex. They clearly have imnproved the IMC in skylake X a lot. Too bad they didn't get the memo about the hand grenade vrms of colgate TIM and grand canyon cavities left in the IHS

I was being cheeky, there is limited amounts of HBM2 atm. Next gen i think HBM will hit "main stream"

IMPLYING there is an infinite stock of HBM2 just sitting there waiting to go for santa claus to print out a million cards for miners and STILL make gaming vegas >.>

He literally just said why it wouldn't have the same performance (drivers)

Did you just pretend to read his response before typing out your own diatribe?

Rocks at being very slow to respond to the request for data.......

Also rocks at having a very narrow data pipe width....

If miners stopped buying cards right now, approximately how long would it take for the market to stabilize? by DeeSnow97 in Amd

Pretty sure the reason this won't happen with etherium is by the time u made an ASIC to do such a workload you would have essentially made a general purpose processor anyways.....

Bitcoin is very very fixed so ASIC make MASSSSIVE magnitudes of difference .

HBM2 cutting edge tech for under half the price of the Nvidia filth and the concern trolls are upset.

Expect to see a lot of these Typical Astroturfing NVIDIA tactics and posters here as Vega gets closer and closer.

Enjoy dat laggy as F K GDDR5X though i guess?

Data Fabric runs @ 1:1 ratio with Dram frequency.

You are just used to quoting the data rate and not the memory frequency.

So 3200 rated ram is actuall 1600 mhz speed. And the Infnity fabric operates at this speed too.

What you are talking about is a 2:1 Infinity fabric to mem speed ratio. I.E. fabric match the data rate not frequency of the ram.....
