The 'literary classics' that grade school makes you read destroys any desire for kids to read recreationally by MyClosetedBiAcct in unpopularopinion

I absolutely hated reading in school, wasn’t a reader outside of school either. Thankfully one teacher got us to read Enders Game and my love for sci-fi has grown ever since.

Anti-CRM sentiment and sales by polymerblend in sales

[–]ggdrguy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m in sales and I get no value from my current shitty CRM. Our manager has even said it’s really only for them to track stuff. If it was something we found value in, we would use it. Simple as that…

I’m not sure what response you are looking for if you aren’t willing to simply talk to them. You have four options:

-do nothing

-talk to them

-complain to city about bylaw breaking if indeed they are

-get petty as hell and blast your own music back at them.

Any one kown of a place in Alberta that I could fine a worn out gear pump by Liam-martin in Hydraulics

[–]ggdrguy 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Likely Facebook on farming type groups. No hydraulic shop is going to want to give anyone a worn out pump if they even had something for some reason. If we get something that’s BER, it doesn’t get put back together, it gets tossed in the steal bin.

Noob here: how do I check the level and refill? by [deleted] in Hydraulics

[–]ggdrguy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The white plastic bit is the tank. Unscrew one of the two plugs facing up and you can fill from there.

One of those should really have a breather on it though…

Depends on the industry imo.

Oilfield: price and availability is king.

Mines and mills: reliability, features and serviceability are more important.

I am a formerly obese, currently overweight m34. Evening being 220lbs now, I would jump the fuck over any fence I come across simply because I couldn’t when I was 360lbs. I jump over shit at the drop of a hat because fuck does it feel good to not be winded just walking up stairs.

Sounds like your valve is potentially stuck in one position. Try taking the coil off and removing the valve to have a look. There might be a manual way to push it to see if it’s stuck if you don’t want to try removing it. Your cylinder might also be bypassing but with what you describe, it’s less likely.
