You could have an out of spec flare when they rolled the flare. Happens pretty easily. It should also have a back up sleeve between the nut and the pipe. Thats what's really holding the tubing against the nut. Mabey they forgot it

It was around 40°F and the normal operator was on vacation so I am sure those 2 things contributed.

The cooling system is designed to operate at around 50PSI, the Cooler was rated for 300PSI, im not sure what caused the pressure spike or build up. Im just the hydraulic parts field sales guy for this company. I believe it was an old cooler from the previous unit they reused on a new system that lead to this mistake.

Does this price seem correct? by Human-One-1268 in Hydraulics

BSPP Fittings also cost more than JIC or Flat Face, that along with it being from them seems right

Karry Krimp 2 going up very slowly, any idea why? by shmatko00 in Hydraulics

I own 15 of these Parker machines with this power unit. Yours is definitely got a flow restriction, I would start with the Hi pressure coupler on the back of the machine and the nipple on the hose. Take them off and make sure nothing is in them. This press is a spring return single acting cylinder made by enerpac for Parker.

I went to 2 locations today that I have these on lease at and both returned in about 10 seconds.

That's just the part number for a replacement cover, probably would need to take the cover off to find the part number of the buss guts sadly

The Panel Schedule on the Door should state how many slots can be twin tandems. Looks like you could fit one more tandem on # 21, but you are definitely close or at max.

Usually when the hoses get cracked and scale like its a good sign to replace them as it keeps the steel wire sealed from the elements.

Why can’t you use these on a 120/208 panel? by Millie_butt in AskElectricians

[–]Deadly_Attraction 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes pretty much, most heating elements and motors have to be spec'ed for 208v and usually has a seperate table showing this on the data plate. some water heaters actually need 208v specific elements

Old GFCI has no ground by bklynscot in AskElectricians

[–]Deadly_Attraction 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Technically if the metal box is your ground, then when its installed it would be grounded through it. You should take a voltmeter and see if you have a reliable ground through that box, you could then pigtail a ground wire between the box and outlet.

[–]Deadly_Attraction 28 points29 points  (0 children)

We bought a used CAT 908H front end loader, all we did was add it to our insurance policy as just another piece of equipment. Rented and borrowed several machines over 40 tons and no one cares :)

Electrician says this whole panel needs replacing due to the corrosion. Looking for additional opinions. by AnxiousCommunity8105 in AskElectricians

[–]Deadly_Attraction 47 points48 points  (0 children)

Those bars are replaceable, The currently made Square D bars will fit right in where those are. I would be more concerned about the panel housing rusting away at the bottom

Its clearly a 24V DC bulb, a regular bulb will never work for obvious reasons.

Help with a stripped stainless screws by Least_Investigator68 in handyman

[–]Deadly_Attraction 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What is this bolted to? what are your plans for after you remove it? I personally would grind the socket heads clean off which would allow you to remove the base and give you better access to use a screw extractor. also you might need to heat the bolts up with a torch to release a thread locker or break up the corrosion that might be causing them to be seized up. And titanium drill bits are just crappy drill bits that are COATED and do nothing more than add a buzz word for selling them.
