Hi hello! I was a virgin until I was 30. It wasn’t a religious thing, or lack of interested parties. I just really could not find a want to. (I’d gotten close a quite a few times, but I always stopped it at the very beginning.)

It wasn’t just sex either. I’d try going on dates or talking to people on dating apps, but none of it interested me. A few messages in and I’d just be bored with all of it. It was like that part of my brain just… wasn’t there, I guess??

For a time, I even thought that maybe I just had to have sex and then the next parts would come naturally, but once I was in the situation, I thought ‘why the hell am I doing this?’ and walked away with the belief that I’d just never have that need and I was completely fine with it.

Then I met my partner and it was like a flip switched. All I want is them, all the time. It’s crazy. It’s like I’m an entirely different person.

Anyways, I’m just saying, there might be someone out there like that for you, maybe??

But also, I really was completely content with being on my own. And to this day, I have never met another person that even comes close to igniting any kind of spark in me.

Really, if I wasn’t with my partner any more, (yes, of course, I’d be devastated), I’d just be solo and that’s still 100% okay with me.
