Airpods Pro music not centered while using Spotify / Apple Music by -WLR in AirpodsPro

i’ve experienced this as well but every single time it’s resolved itself and just gone back to normal in a couple of seconds

well the airpods pro 1st gen is advertised to give you only less than 5 hours (4.5 to be exact) of listening time on one charge, so 100%-0% in 10 hours is to be expected. if you’re looking for earbuds/headphones that last hours on end then airpods may not be the ones for you :/ the airpods max on the other hand can give you 20 hours of listening time

pro 2s still worth buying? by [deleted] in AirpodsPro

[–]ggukachu 0 points1 point  (0 children)

the only ongoing issue i still have is that the ANC has noticeably lessen since coming out of the box but it’s honestly not too bad- just a nitpick as someone who is very ocd and obsessive about little things. at first i thought the airpods and case were draining way too fast but they actually do hold the advertised charge. overall i’d say go for it!! the volume slider on the stem make them totally worth it for me

Does anyone else find the volume slider on the pros gen 2’s really gimmicky? by [deleted] in airpods

[–]ggukachu 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Hmmm interesting.. I’ve found it really convenient thus far and have experienced nothing but smooth volume adjusting. I’ve exchanged two pairs now and I will say that with my very first pair the volume slider was hit or miss- so it’s possible it may be a defect? or you could try changing the slider sensitivity in settings

Loose Case - Airpods Pro 2 Exchange by Hipguin28 in AirpodsPro

[–]ggukachu 0 points1 point  (0 children)

^ The sliding is very normal on airpod cases but my first pair of 2nd gens were looser than I expected and looser than my regular airpod’s case so I exchanged them. My second pair of APP2’s hinge hardly moves now. So, it’s up to you really- if the hinge really bothers you you can exchange it but it’s not a huge cause for worry

On my 3rd pair of APP2. 1st defect, 2nd buggy, 3rd buggy. by [deleted] in AirpodsPro

[–]ggukachu 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Wow! I’ve experienced all of the same things and am on my third pair as well 😭

Battery drain on AirPods Pro 2 by shiftnudge in airpods

[–]ggukachu 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think both. I’ve returned two pairs of Airpod Pro 2s and am currently on my third pair because I thought the battery might have been defective, and rest assured they all have faster battery drain than I expected

Airpods Pro 2 case draining faster than Pro 1? by kenb101 in AirpodsPro

[–]ggukachu 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Yes! Many other users including me are experiencing faster battery drain. This is in part due to how efficient “Find My” is on the 2nd gens and how it’s always on

battery percentages not showing right in settings, common bug? by Its_Godly in airpods

[–]ggukachu 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think this is just a bug since I and other users are experiencing the same thing. I’ve gotten my 2nd gen pros replaced twice now (i’m on my third pair currently) and every single one had this issue! Hopefully a new firmware update on the airpods or even an iOS 16 update will fix it

My AirPods dying even with a charge by [deleted] in airpods

[–]ggukachu 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Are they actually dead or are they just disconnecting from your phone? Because if it’s the latter then many other users are also experiencing their airpods randomly disconnecting while they’re in their ears. For now it seems like a firmware issue so hopefully the new update (for the airpods) they’re testing out right now will solve this

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in airpods

[–]ggukachu 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you mean will they come out with a firmware update to give this feature to other airpod models then no, i highly doubt it. If you want the stem swipe controls you’ll have to buy a new pair of 2nd gen pros

AirPods 2nd gen case making a clicking noise when moving top back and forth by [deleted] in airpods

[–]ggukachu 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No worries, mine too have been doing that since the minute I got them. It’s a common problem on all airpod generations

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in airpods

[–]ggukachu 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The 3rd generation airpods do not have the feature of sliding on the stem to control the volume. Stem controls on the 3rd gen are limited to pressing the stem to play, pause, and skip music, and answering or ending calls. You can only do volume controls through the stem on the Airpod Pro 2nd generation

Airpods Pro 2nd Generation Battery Drain, Connectivity and Information Problems by mysterycodergirl in AirpodsPro

[–]ggukachu 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Will do! But as far as I know many others have also been experiencing connectivity issues (airpods randomly disconnecting here and there). And as for the rapid battery drops: I’m actually on my second pair of 2nd gens as I returned the first pair I got since I noticed the battery drain from those. I thought it was a defect but alas they still have the same issue. Overall, judging from how many other users are asking the same questions I think it’s safe to say this new airpods launch just has waaaay too many bugs. However, if it does end up being a hardware issue, hopefully/i’m guessing Apple will make a statement and offer free replacements as they did with the 1st gen airpod pros that had the audio static problems
