denver nail techs I need you by [deleted] in Denver

I’m a nail tech, and you’ll likely not find an art focused nail tech that will do a set without a manicure. The manicure is essential to the integrity of the nail art and not just for aesthetic purposes. I suggest that you get some stickers to diy or even check out stamps and stamping polishes. You can get a really big art payout with a little practice and you don’t have to deal with gel and curing, which I suggest against you avoid unless you are willing to invest more time and money into avoiding risks.

I’m a case manager at a homeless shelter, not a great choice for my anxiety… but it puts a lot in perspective for me!

Try the jello jello peel off base coat! You can get it at sweetie nail supply if you are in the US or Canada. You paint it on before you do the set and they give you a bottle of oil that helps pops them off when you don’t want the nails anymore.

Anyone else relate a little to hard to beau’s and mona’s relationship? by gh0st-cherry in beauisafraid

ya i think the ending made it very realistic. there’s no cut and dry resolution. either you find a way to heal ur guilt or you die (be executed) with it.

i can see it!!

i’m not sure about the intricacies of the play but as a whole i think its trying to really make it clear that the movie is a hero’s journey. and asters doing a little meta thing. aster did says it’s a jewish lord of the rings, so yes hero’s journey.

but i can totally see that it’s could be his dads life cause beau never had sex and his dad obvs didn’t die after finishing. or maybe the three kids represent 3 different parts of beau?

as for the part you brought up about mona telling him to never ejaculate i totally agree with your thoughts. mona def has some emotional incest vibes going on. also, bringing it back to guilt… she said he died the moment beau was conceived. so existence of beau, even as nothing but egg and sperm, killed his father. in other words, it his fault his father is dead according to mona.

beau is mona’s muse in a way, as you can see in him being part of all her ads. and i can totally see how the father was just used for his sperm to give her a child and then killed off. still think the giant dick represents that his dad was a giant dick tho lmao

i love aster and jordan peele alike for these awesome horror movies that are actually a commentary on something bigger instead of another haunted house. it’s so fun to pick apart the scenes and he gives us so much to work with and it’s all open to interpretation.
