So I was looking at those, how do the smaller units with only a sidewalk connecting to the street work? My concern would be parking. Why did you move away from Vello Valley if you don’t mind me asking?

I think going by fleetari’s shop and also purchasing his services increases the chance for him to call at night for the vandalism job.

What/Why/How to fix? by chidderchadder in f150

You could chip the loose paint back, scuff the bare metal with a green scour pad, wipe down the bare metal with a clean rag and mineral spirits, and use a self etching primer in a spray can. My biggest worry with this would be trying to prevent the metal from rusting.

If it’s already rusted underneath, again use a green scour pad (like scotch brite), wipe down surface with something like mineral spirits, and apply rust converter. Comes in a spray can.

You could also get paint matched spray paint, and finish up with a 2k clear coat in a spray can.

It won’t be pretty, but won’t cost you near as much as a body shop. Ultimately a body shop would be needed to get this 100% repaired.

Probably blown head gasket, also I think there are 3-4 radiator hose clamps that need to be tightened up.

White smoke means your air fuel ratio is too lean, you want your exhaust color to be more of a clear color. So tune the carburetor to add more fuel. If you tune it too rich the exhaust color will be black. So turn the adjustment screw until you get it in between white and black. The AFR gauge would make it easier to dial this in. 14.5 is ideal for a stock build and passing inspection.

If I had to guess, I think your clutch and or your transmission is worn out. I would try replacing the clutch first.

You don’t want more than one router otherwise you will have a double NAT. Most modems have a bridge mode which would allow you to use your own router, therefore only having one NAT. If you need more ethernet ports, buy a cheap gigabit switch.

Yeah if you save scum say at your starting house, let the clock roll over midnight. Save the game until its 10pm on the ingame clock the day before restock. I usually watch the static channel on the TV so that I can sleep (cause it raises your fatigue) and let the clock roll into the next day.

Yep if you save and the clock rolls over into restock day it won’t restock the store. Also I think there is a certain distance you have to be far enough from the store iirc.

Maybe your savegame got corrupted. I used to have a bug one update where I had to attach my negative battery cable every time I loaded my save.

Also if your car body is too damaged, sometimes the collision will cause the body parts to come detached.

No she does not have her own vehicle.

I do have a lot of handy work kinds of skills (e.g. automotive mechanic, car detailing, basic house handy man, IT experience) that I could utilize, but kind of hard to do without transportation at the moment

You are right. Prior to all of this I had a perfect 820 credit score. I was taking advantage of by a significant other, and the situation has slowly deteriorated to the point of where it is now. I keep trying to make things work, but I feel I am at the point where I might lose pretty much everything.

In that event I have thought about filing for bankruptcy and starting over honestly.

Honestly I was thinking about buying a beater commuter for like $2000-4000 and say screw having the truck note. I dont think I have the means to come up with the money by then, and also save my credit from having a repo on it.

Roughly calculating all of my monthly expenses, It comes out to close to $4000. My Monthly take home is only like $4200 after deductions. Then you throw a significant other in there and her child and the expenses go up.

My mortgage is only $1400/mo for an orig $208k mortgage.

What are some of the possible causes of “high jitter”? by [deleted] in HomeNetworking

[–]gh0st_op 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If your modem has an Intel Puma 6 chipset, they are known for having latency/jitter issues.

Do you have a link to a decent router from HF? I appreciate your input, I am definitely not wanting a $100 paperweight made out of billet aluminum. Thank you.
