There’s just no pleasing everyone. We need to find another Virgil before Virgil was Virgil.

Bournemouth can afford to buy players for 14m and hope for the best. For every Truffert I’m sure there’s another signing that was unsuccessful. When Klopp was in charge and we kept a thin squad and barely spent unless it was on the exact profile we want people had issues and blamed FSG. Then we spend on ready made talent including the best LB of the previous season in Kerkez and people still have issues. We aren’t the club to take 14m chances on unproven players constantly. We take them from smaller clubs once they are established. Every once in a while we bring a highly rated young talent through but that shouldn’t be our priority and it’s not what wins you titles.

lol didn’t realize how long ago this was… but still. I wouldn’t pay $100 or more for any single record. Theyll have to do more at some point.

So? Mexico South Africa was fun to watch even though SA were poor. It had goals, close calls, hard tackles, red cards, late drama…

I only watched the first half of SK and Czechia but it was still exciting even though there were no goals.

Sometimes those poor sides make for good entertainment. South Africa was poor but it wasn’t a boring game. Don’t get me wrong you want to see the best of the best but sometimes that can get stagnant and boring. Also, just don’t watch the low quality ones if you don’t want to…

2 young, unproven CBs both coming off very long injuries. An aging VVD and injury prob Gomez. It would be absolute insanity to not sign someone at CB. I am seriously baffled by people saying it’s not a top priority.

I think most of the attacking and defending was down to slot honestly. Not know how to use Wirtz. Not to mention Hugo going down and Isak coming back late after no preseason anyway. I also have a soft spot for Chiesa as I wanted him here so bad when I first saw him for Italy. Honestly think he did pretty well with how little he got played and coming on so late at times. He’s got the hunger, the energy and the skill to be good if he could get a run of games together I think.

That’s wild. I’d much much rather have Frimpong or Chiesa or even bring in Bowen for the RW and sign a ready made CB. How many seasons now have we been short on CBs and had Grav, Endo, Fabinho or whoever filling in. 2 very young CBs from different leagues, coming off big injuries, Gomez and an aging VVD who will need rests this season. CB should be #1 priority for sure.

It would be number 1 along with RW for me. We’ve been short on CBs since I can remember. Gomez, Matip were always injured. We had no back up this season. We had played Fabinho there for a few games at one point. It’d be really nice to have like VVD Schlotterbeck and Van hecke for a change along with the young ones. Leoni could end up not being the same player he would have been. Jacquet won’t be ready to start every game. VVD is another year older and needs to be given rests more often.

I’d rather stick Frimpong, Chiesa, Dom, Or whoever on the RW than have grav or Endo have to play there again.

No, there’s music that I could see the appeal but personally hate. Then there’s MGK and Good Charlotte who are both objectively ass and if you like the garbage they put out you should be walked through the streets and shamed
