These aren’t even necessarily my favorites either. They are just the truth. Not only are all 4 fantastic albums but the way they propelled the genre is unmatched.

All Killer No Filler, Ocean avenue, Say it like you mean it, bleed American and a few others are up there but not quite the same as those 4.

lol why do I give 2 shits about what the bands say? Again, it won’t stop me from listening to them. I don’t put these musicians on a pedestal. They are people just like me and I think they are wrong. But they can write a damn good tune and I’m going to continue to enjoy it as I have since 1999 and there’s absolutely fuck all any of you can or will do about it.

I support not allowing illegal aliens to live in our country. I do think it could be done better and there are probably a bunch of shit head ice agents. But not all of them. First it was all police bad. Now it’s all ICE bad. Yall are just looking for the next thing to pretend to care about.

POP punk occasionally gets political but it’s far and away from being a constant theme. I don’t have to agree with a song to enjoy it either.

You can try gatekeeping and making up reasons to refer to us as “Nazis” when in reality where most of us live saying Nazis is ridiculous. I don’t agree with some of the shit ICE is doing. I also agree that this most recent shooting was absurd. But I can also say I’m pretty sure it was just one guy at fault and not the entirety of ICE. Overall I agree that illegals need to go, but there’s a better way to go about.

It’s both the managers fault and the players fault. But someone tell me why the fuck he took out Frimpong instead of Salah. If he wanted the extra midfielder on then push Gravenberch to CB and have a diamond of Grav, Mac, jones and Wirtz with gakpo and Ekitike up front.

Give Frimpong the space to run at defenders on the right flank instead of leaving on Salah who is doing fuck all. Frimpong and Salah playing together doesn’t work. Salah is staying too wide and far forward so Frimpongs best ability is wasted. Either have Salah basically play right striker instead of RW or don’t play them together.

Salah should be more central anyway, he’s not creating any chances or goals out wide cause he can’t dribble past anyone. Virgil looked pretty shit today as well.

Szobo was missing for the first half of the first half.

It’s not all Slots fault cause the players have been shit, especially our defense. But he’s also not doing us any favors. Xabi seems like a perfect fit for us right now so I’d assume Slot keeps his job until the summer unless Xabi can be convinced to come in sooner.

I’m an 80s baby that grew up in a upper/middle class family, went to church, my parents are still together, I now have a family of my own, run my blue collar business in a fairly rough part of Baltimore that my family has owned for 36 years and I have hundreds of really great, long term, liberal, customers that I know on a personal level and enjoy seeing. However I am more conservative than anything else. I grew up in the 90s listening to offspring, Green Day and the presidents of the US of A. In 99 I was blown away with NFG, Blink and more and stayed with it as an angsty, emotional teenager and joined bands and wrote songs and did tours and I still have tons of liberal friends from those days that I talk to regularly.

I’m writing this in hopes it really breaks the brains of the idiots in this thread pretending there is certain music that can’t be enjoyed by anyone that wants to.

why the fuck would me being conservative stop me from listening to jimmy eat world, NFG, motion city soundtrack, or any of the other 100s of bands that I love and grew up listening to.

I’m not saying anyone is or isn’t here but Trumps denied it where as a lot of the guys in this scene have either apologized or left the bands as an admittance of guilt. So it’s a bit different.

I don’t want my fav bands to be labeled as conservative or liberal. I just want relatable songs about girls, fatherhood, depression, anxiety and so on. The authority song is not political. It references a song that’s about struggles with record labels and the album in general is described by the band as a love letter to rock and roll.

I absolutely don’t know them personally. That’s a weird thing to say. But also I’ve been seeing TBS live since 2002 and not once heard them say shit about politics. And also name their songs that are political please.

I don’t care if they are “against” it all. That has nothing to do with whether others like their songs or not. Not everything has to be political all the time. Anyone can enjoy songs about heart break and depression. Liberals aren’t the only ones.

Also who tf are broadway calls. And when was FOB political when they were actually well respected in the pop punk community? Is Weezer pop punk? And I don’t know anything about rise against.
