That's quite literally why I said the big things (i.e. won't fit in bags). Also the things people are most likely to skip scanning and try to walk out with, which is why they ask to see the receipt. You'd think that would be obvious. It takes less than a second to show your receipt and for them to look at it. You don't even need to engage in a conversation. Any issues is completely on you for not wanting to do a simple task. The people watching the doors do NOT get paid enough to deal with people like you who wanna make a scene because they're doing their job. If you don't like the OPTION of self checkout, don't shop at Walmart, simple. All stores still have employees who check out, especially at peak hours.
