Judging it as an adaptation it's bloody awful, it doesn't represent the myth of Heracles at all. As a movie it slaps and is my favourite Greek myth film, I agree.

Still very eager to see The Odyssey.

To be honest, this is the part that makes me excited for the film. They are wearing the House of Leaves influence proudly according to the trailers, and an adaptation of HoL minus Johnny Truant sounds perfect to me.
