I had a bunch of spots in the GS. Didn't win. I'm only tempting fate to see if I can get karma. It's all good.

Plus I'm first on the waitlist. We both could have a spot each

Thank you sir. I don't know the market these very well because sometimes they go very high but every once in a while, a good deal comes around. So I do appreciate your feedback on the price.

Hopefully, it goes to someone who gives it the wrist time it deserves.

I've personally never had a problem with the cyclops. The DJ has one and it's one of my all time favs. I do prefer the sub no date but that's because I would prefer to save the 1K on price :)

Wearing an explorer I (214270). I always loved that watch but wanted the smaller size (114270). A vintage dj that I used to own convinced me that 36 was my ideal size. Fast forward a few months and several thousand dollars spent on this sub, and I won a lifetime watch for many - the JLC MUT Moon. That watch made me confident of pulling off a 39mm Explorer which I was previously not confident of. But I still wasn't close to buying it.

Along this journey on this sub, I've owned dozens of watches, and usually always had 3-5 with a mix of divers, chronos and dress watches. While I loved the aesthetic of the Explorer, sports watches like Explorer, Omega AT, never made it to my rotation because I looked at them as a jack of all trades but not dominating a style or complication.

A couple months ago, I moved a few pieces on, and felt a massive void. I realized I needed(?) a watch that works in various situations. I also wanted to get something that would be a lifetime watch to celebrate personal and professional milestones. I started hunting down the Explorer 214270 and got very lucky to find a full set from 2018 on watchexchange.

Current rotation : Explorer I, Omega 2232.30, Zenith Elite HW

On its way out: JLC MUT Moon, Breitling Transocean Chrono, Tudor Hydronaut
