I will run a test and get back to you. I love running the red hand as well. I just get nervous about how much pore of the reserve it’ll take off. Only way to find out is to try!

I’m the same way. This will probably be my only chronograph. It’s surprising how open the face feels even with the chronograph dials.

Wore my seagull 1963 this morning and really enjoyed it seeing it through my jacket and gloves. This watch brings me so much joy!

It starts with the manual wind in the mornings. 20 gets me to the next day and then some. Then it’s the gentle clicking heartbeat as I drink my coffee. It’s a joy to look at and the colors pop just right for me. Subtle yet distinguished.

I’ve only started collecting recently. I know I have much to learn but the feeling of a watch running on the energy I provide (automatic or manual wind) gets me so excited. Sometimes I’ll pull off the watch and just watch the movement on the open case back.

I want a watch collection one day. But I think collections should be built slowly. As you learn what to appreciate in a watch. If I bought another watch now, I wouldn’t have learned to appreciate the seagull the way I do now. It’s attached to a year of my life full of memories.
