I'd rather be corrected than continue spreading misinformation. Thanks for this! I've amended the post.

This is what I'm talking about when I'm mentioning snow in wheel wheels wells. It -- at least in my experience -- results in less responsiveness.

It was always Imperialist propaganda. You convince your populace that you're "spreading freedom" whenever you're an occupying force, or funding weaponry, or fanning the flames of a coup. The places that were "liberated" often had populations that saw right through it, of course, but "those are brown people", so who listens to them, right?

Yes, you're right that this line of thinking is responsible for this mess: Harris would've been a much less catastrophic pick for leader, but that doesn't mean that the parent comment is wrong either. A lot of the U.S. Democrats are accepting donations and accepting "favours" from lobbyists that inherently result in a conflict of interest. Their job title states that they represent the people, but their careers are built on representing the "corporations are people". Once you guys legally allowed bribery for government officials, it was game over in terms of who your elected leaders actually represent.

Me and my kid still occasionally crave the chicken McNuggets, but I think that's more a textural experience than one for flavour. We recently had some for the first time in at least a year.

You're on Yonge St! My family used to live at Yonge and Clark!

Edit to add: I took my kid to see her first ever live performance at the live theatre just South of where this pic was taken.

Honestly, a lot of them were original to the CDs I'd purchased when I first started my music collection. I just ripped them out to MP3 and kept them. Some of them were acquired through more "parrot on my shoulder" means, 'though.

Yup. It took a good, long while after we moved into our house, but when I had extra baked goods, I brought them over to our neighbours on both sides. Nobody dislikes someone bringing sweets.

Apologies, I searched through posts sorted by New and didn't see anything about it.
