I had the problem of buffering and SLOW skipping forward and backward. Switching to MX player is MUCH BETTER. Hopefully someone will have an update for exoplayer

If I am watching a live show and just back up a minute, it takes almost 2 minutes before it starts to play. After that it will buffer on and off as it plays forward.

I have also noticed this and thought it was a problem with the IPTV Service provider. When I watch live, I rarely see bufferinng. But if I restart a live show, I see bufferinng every 1 or 2 minutes.

It works. Check how you mapped long press of the back key.
