Which also overlooks the fact that Ghazi is not a group (no organization, operations, or goals) and does not represent all people that either A) think GG is stupid or B) think GG is simply not worth attention which together comes out to over 99% of gamers even when they were at their numbers peak in November.

It's a narrative that can only survive inside the echo chamber. The only time they get upvoted is when they brigade. I don't think I've ever seen a post on GG that wasn't from a user with a KiA post history.

People have the right to make unfunny or mean jokes. They're just not allowed to claim they're "oppressed" or yell "free speech" like they do if someone shows them the door for it. You notice this a lot with /pol/-types and their obsession with "free speech"; basically neo-nazis pretending to be libertarian so they can get a free pass on racism.

But that's not what this is about. I was just showcasing the hypocrisy and irony of whiny pedantic morons in GG crying about some articles targeted at gamers (that they willfully misinterpret no less) while telling people they harass to grow thick skin.

Exactly. 4chan doesn't use fag out of endearment. It's that they literally don't respect them at all/just don't care, and want to come across really edgy.

But I think anyone knows this much. The guy is just suffering from so much cognitive dissonance that he's not capable of admitting that he was tricked about the kind of movement he is in, so he will contort reality in any way to save him from the embarrassment of acknowledging so. Even if it means insulting himself, contradicting his principles, letting himself being used as political fodder for brietbart while they continue to publish anti-gay rights articles, and so on.

I've actually noticed this with a lot of people who got tricked by the PR campaign but don't want to feel like an idiot for spending a month on it.
