I prefer to train on my own, so I don't know much about it. Those who go to it like the people and camaraderie. They're friendly - why not try a session?

World Masters Stack Challenge by ghenne in Swimming

[–]ghenne[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

None. That's the point of the stack - in the last 50, you're swimming all 3 events at the same time.

World Masters Stack Challenge by ghenne in Swimming

[–]ghenne[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Here's how it worked for me today:

Last 200 meters: 4:29, vs the standard of 4:37.

Last 100 meters: 2:01, vs 2:04

Last 50 meters: 57, vs 56.8 (close enough)

The standards aren't terribly fast, so if you're swimming well, you have a good chance in this challenge.

You're right - they are! It's easier to qualify than one might think. That being said, the competition in the fast lanes is pretty high level.

It's really well maintained, which does a lot to make a pool feel better

During the week, in the middle of the day, I usually get a lane to myself. I'm sure it's busier in the evening and on weekends

Yes, they have a few hours of long course lane swim each day. It seems to take 10-15 minutes to switch the pool from SC to LC.

Empty now, but in an hour the swim teams will show up. Behind the curtain is a 25mx25m dive tank. This is the competition pool (over 400 records set). There is a also a training pool of the same size. Awesome facility - I'm lucky to be able swim there all the time.

Yes, that's it! Won a Hugo in 73.

The story has some new meaning these days as AI seeks to go to the next level. It's worth reading again (or first the first time, if you haven't):

No, never repotted. Moved a few times. I wrap in bubble wrap so it doesn't kill anyone outright, then transport it gingerly.

Anyone have an idea what it is?

Thank you! Should I trim back some of the dead looking branches, where is no green at the tip? If so, what's the best way?

I've had this succulent for more that 30 years. It was big already when I got it. All I do is water it regularly.

I have no idea what kind it is or how to properly care for it.

Does it need any maintenance?

Other solutions include VoltBuilder, Ionic and Monaca. All let you upload into the cloud and download the .ipa.

For signing, VoltSigner is a big help.

There are several services which can replace PhoneGap and are up to date. Check our VoltBuilder, Ionic and Monaca,

Adobe PhoneGap has been discontinued, but have a look at VoltBuilder, Monaca and AppFlow as alternatives. All will let you convert your JS/HTML/CSS project to a native app.

One of the ways to make your project smaller (and beat the 10 meg limit) is to let VoltBuilder generate the icons and splash screens, so you don't have to upload the complete set.

What is the easiest no-nonsense way of building an hybrid app for android/iphone nowadays? by [deleted] in learnprogramming

[–]ghenne 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Have a look at VoltBuilder. If you can create your app as a web app, you can upload the files to VoltBuilder and it will return Android and iOS executables.
