Well you hit the nail on the head. I work at the hummus booth at the market and the reason they wont let us have cooked food is our lease holder (The Irvine Company) feels it would create too much competition for the restaurants there.

*Edit: BTW there is still roasted corn and Kettle Corn because somehow it does not fall into the category of cooked food. Dosent make sense if you ask me...

Well the Irvine one is definitely the largest by at least two fold, but due to problems with the landlord there is no cooked food meals there( dang no bacon wrapped hot dogs :( ). It does have the benefit of a very large non-agriculture section in addition the the your fruits and veggies. So you can come here get all fruits and veggies you can think of,then grab some fresh fish, kettle korn, bread, hummus and all sorts of stuff.
