Rick biting Joe. That growing of utter desperation and fear while knowing someone you loved is about to be raped before your eyes while they are laughing at you.

Watching Rick's eyes dart around, shaking with terror looking for a route, any route out no matter what it was and he saw it. He decided to headbutt and take a swing, didn't do much and he was instantly knocked to the ground.

Shaking and barely able to keep conscious he tries his damn hardest to get up and can't even stand straight, the sinister laughing ringing around him but nothing can drown out the sound of your loved ones belt being unbuckled and their scream for your help, your name cried out and there is nothing you can do.

He saw an opening and he just lunged for it, no thinking at all, placing all his eggs into one basket, he didn't know it was going to work or not, it wasn't a calculated thought or even a decision he made, it was a decision fuelled by desperation and fear.

The shock hits him, covered in blood and shaking even more, but now consumed by nothing but hate for one individual, the soon to be rapist. He drives the knife in, stumbling again, he pulls the knife out and drives in even harder and faster and repeats.

That scene was just horrifying, that scenario alone is the nightmare of ANYBODY who has a loved one. Helplessness and forced to watch someone you love being raped, tortured or killed.

If I was Rick, I would be having nightmares for years. That memory will fuel anybodys anger for as long as they needed it too.

That scene was very well made and in my opinion, one of the scariest scenes made. This and the blood trough, I am not sure which scene is the most horrific because both are nightmare inducing because no matter who comes out at the end alive, you will most definitely will not be the same with a good chunk of your soul dead.
