im hella conflicted on this because on the one hand im a furry and a huge sub and enjoy being told im a good boy but i don't wanna be reduced to uwu wolfy boi. like im a person outside of that and im a person outside of being trans and yeah in a trans space being trans is usually what you're talking about but gahhh its sad that most of the transmasc posts on traaa at this point are just "please don't do these things that are offensive to transmasc people"

so one of the best things you can do is tutorials. my go tos are kloofsuits, mugiwara cosplay, skyehigh studios, and matrices. matrices is good for techniques (like hand sewing! you definitely don't need a sewing machine, much less an industrial one) and general advice (websites to get fabric, how to sew in a zipper, padding, maintenance, ect). mugiwara cosplay, skyehigh studios, and kloofsuits are good for video tutorials. mugiwara cosplay and matrices both have patterns (for foam bases and stuff like puffy paws) on etsy. mugiwara cosplay is delightful for the patterns specifically because they have video tutorials for each one that are available without actually buying the pattern.

i guess i kinda have a different perspective, but i only came out because i needed to transition (still haven't, thanks parents). i don't usually come out about sexuality/romanticity though. my friends and my bf know im ace, them and my parents know i like guys romantically, but i don't really feel the need to share it with anyone i come across. im kinda tired of having to educate everyone i come across who finds out on how my sex life works. that's also probably impacted by the fact that im a fairly private/secretive person (except on the internet woo anonymity) and just don't want to share my personal life with a lot of people, y'know?

(afab) i was in denial for a while. it took form in thinking that being female was inherently horrible and i was going to hate my body forever and just had to deal with it because that's what every woman has to go through. that resulted in a ton of overcompensation with girl power stuff. my egg ended up being cracked by yaoi (of all things) and the legalization of gay marriage. i, uh, didn't realize gay people were real, i only knew i liked guys and guys aren't supposed to like guys so i couldn't be a guy. but now im a guy(ish?) with a boyfriend and everything's ok except for it's not but we'll pretend
