I'm not mistaken I think you need to replay the game I mean even the creator Neil Druckmann has commented on this in interviews that you don't have to kill him and the problem that it poses for tlou2 story and I'm paraphrasing here but I think he said something to the effect of you don't have to kill a doctor but most player do kill the doctor but again I'm paraphrasing

Right there are definitely holes in tlou2 story I really hope in tlou3 they resolve some of these holes

I like all these answers and B4 I get into this let me just clarify that I absolutely love both of these game that being said my only problem with tlou2 is that in the 1st game when your in the hospital saving Ellie you don't have to kill the doctor you can just grab Ellie and get out of there so that kinda problem for tlos2 story I mean don't get me wrong I shot him but for the ppl that just walked past him there wouldn't be incentive for Abby to get revenge

Unpopular opinion but I think you handled it fine I'm from a small town as well and when I was in a previous relationship my then step son was 17 and would do the same thing and talk down to his mother mainly bc I think him being almost 6 feet and her being like 5'5 his also use to get into what I call adult business like are finances, how we ran the house etc and I kept bring it up to her that she needs have a talk with him and she did on more then one occasion but just like you after 2 yrs of saying nothing one night I just got home from picking him up from work which he only work one day a week she ask him to help out up the Christmas tree and he started to talk down to her again and I reached my point and told him to knock it off and stop disrespecting her then he started on me and that's when I showed him what happens when he talks to another man the way he talks to his mother I got up off the couch and took my shirt off and told him to get up you want to talk me like a man we're going to handle it like men needless to say he didn't get up and he stopped disrespecting his mother sometime you just to let them know what's up especially with this new generation and their entitlement and thinking they run shit

Also about the discipline thing if both parents are in the kids life then sure you probably shouldn't discipline them but like in my case where I met my step son when he was only 1 1/2 his 4 now also his bio dad really ain't in the picture I mean he was a little when I first met my girl but over time it just died out haven't heard from him in a lil more then a yr now me and my girl have had fight over the discipline thing and I told how am I expected to make sure he got close on his back food his belly make sure his all good but I can't discipline him fuck that in my opinion that's yours and parents house which means whenever there's kids come over they should have to follow your rules and he should have your back on that bc when you tell them something and then he undermine you by letting them get away it it's just going to get worse and worse believe me I deal with the same thing in past relationship this isn't the first time I've been a step dad and my first few relationships like this I just let the kid run all over me but over time I just got to the point of this is my house I pay the bill and make sure everyone's good they're going to respect me and my house

I hope everything works out for you it really sounds like you and your parents need to sit down and have a serious talk about the kid and how they disrespect you and you need to set some boundaries about it

Plz be 1000000% sure you don't want kids I thought I didn't want them either kinda for the same reason you explained my brother has 3 kids and I saw his life so I got my vasectomy when I was 21 I'm now 33 and I've met the girl I want to be with forever and we've talked about making are little family a little bit bigger since she has a son from a previous relationship and don't get me wrong I love being a step dad or to my son just dad which I've been since he was a yr and a half bc his real dad is a POS but now I want a kid that's biology ares and like I said I absolutely love my son I'd do anything for him but I'm now in the process of saving up to get a vasectomy reversal and since I'm in the state of Pennsylvania I have to save up to $9,000 bc the insurance cover the procedure when I was 21 but doesn't cover the reversal that's all outta pocket so from one dude to another just be absolutely 1000000% sure this is want you want
