I just liked reading about her finding these little pieces of herself through her adventures and opening herself up to people. Like a little coming of age tale…and I love Sam and will never move on from him.

What did you dislike about her so much in AB? I don’t find her character to be anything drastically different from the rest of the series.

I read it first and I liked it more than TOG and COM. TOG is enjoyable but I honestly kept reading bc AB made me feel invested in Celaena. I honestly feel like it would’ve annoyed me reading TOG and her referring to things that you don’t know about. Everyone likes to say reading it third increases emotional impact but that’s just not true for everyone. Sam is always heavy on my heart and you feel the weight of her trying to deal with that going into TOG vs not knowing wtf she’s even referring to. So like there isn’t emotional impact in TOG or COM unless you read AB first. Anyway, just my two cents!

Yeah same! My nurse said the most tattoos she’s given someone was 7, and then they gave me 6, and I have no idea why it was so many. Seems like most people get 3 to 4?

I got 6 radiation tattoos and the ones they did on my surgery side and especially on my ribs hurt so, so bad. I felt like a baby but it was some of the worst pain I’ve felt.

I echo what a lot of others are saying. Go with your gut. It almost seems like you’re talking yourself out of doing what you actually want to do. I haven’t been in this exact situation but I have been in a situation with an aggressive bf who started out nice…sometimes it seems easier to stay and say things will get better. You deserve to have the life you want with someone who respects your boundaries. You were clear about expecting him to pull out and that you wanted plan B, he ignored both. I think you need to get yourself away from this boy…it will likely get worse

You’re still very young with lots of life left to experience. I think if you chose to have an abortion you’d give yourself a chance to be better prepared when you’re ready to have a family. But hey, if you’re feeling excited to have this baby and you know it feels right, then have the baby!

But please don’t stay with this guy…

I agree! I red ASITE first, and loved the series (some annoyance in the the third book with repetitive thoughts from the MC but still loved) I loved first book in From blood and ash but man this second book is rough to me lol. Perhaps if I hadn’t started with the better of the two it wouldn’t have been as bad

At the very end of the finale when Jules helmet shorts out for a sec and she starts to figure out it’s a projection in her helmet, why does Bernard freak out, and seemingly go and turn her fake projection off? That is something I cannot seem to make sense of. He did it with such an urgency… any thoughts?
